Queen Margrethe attended the opening of Viking Kings Hall at Land of Legends Museum in Lejre. Land of Legends is a 106-acre archaeological open-air museum situated in the Lejre Municipality. The museum comprises reconstructions of an Iron Age village, a sacrificial bog, a Viking market place, a Stone Age camp-site, an 18th-century farmstead and various grave monuments.

The Kings Hall is the large Viking house in the project called the World of the Saga Kings. It is 60 metres long, 12 metres wide, 10 metres tall and covers over 600m2. The original hall was excavated by archaeologists from Roskilde Museum in 2009 and is the largest building from the Danish Viking Age.

  6. La reine reporte une veste, robe ainsi qu'un chapeau dans des couleurs bleu-marine et saumon bien harmonisées qu'elle a l'air de beaucoup aimer ; trop mignonne la petite fille sur la dernière photo !

  8. Nice colours. Great to see her out and about after the disappointment of missing her 80th birthday celebrations. I do hope they have a grand ball of some kind once meeting and travel restrictions are finally lifted.

  9. She looks great! THANK GOODNESS she's gotten her teeth cleaned, they were so yellow at one point her dark red lipstick made them look awful.
