Maxima's hair goes well with that kind of dress only.

Dress, NO, hair, definitely lost the hair brush, and shoes, do not go with the style of the dress. They have $$, hire a stylist.

Could I suggest they hire the stylist who works for Princess Ann in England.
Could be the solution ...... no?

  2. Oh how marvellous that the National Theater has been able to reopen, what positive news. The King and Queen looked happy, lovely to see the Queen so happy, her smile lights up the room.

    1. Me too. It has an off beat difference which the Queen seems to enjoy playing around with. I find it more ethnic rather than vintage. A wacky pair of big off beat earings would have gone down well with it. Love the endless smiles.

I agree with you both. Love the dress, and I agree about the ethnic look, because of the loose, flowing kaftan style and the geometric designs on the bodice, which could have been inspired by embroidery.

The shawl hides the neckline, an important feature of the dress, and the dress asks for much more casual shoes.
    So again alas a no.

    The dress is awful.

  6. UGH! maxima is definitely not the ethnic type. She should stick to the artistic sophisticated things that really suit her and in which she is sometimes stunning , like the diagonal blocked caftan she wore on the Spanish official visit.

  7. Robe avec un joli haut brodé mais je n'aime pas le bas ainsi que les manches ; j'aurais bien vu une création plus près du corps.. Je la trouve un peu mieux coiffée ; a t-elle changé de coiffeur ?

This dress is made by the South African designer Zazi Nyandeni. I applaud Queen Maxima for showing support to women of colour!

That’s okay, but combine the dress with these very expensive shoes?

  9. Rather like the boho look on Queen Max and love the shoes. Think she looks really nice here and great that the theatre is able to reopen even with restrictions.

A very artsy look. Not bad, typical Máxima. Hair is not even worth mentioning. Befuddles me. CH
