Crown Princess Victoria visited Södermalm district of Stockholm

On Monday, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden visited Södermalm district of Stockholm where she took part in various activities as a Royal volunteer of the Stockholm City Mission.

The Crown Princess delivered food packages at Sankt Paul, the meeting point of the elderly living alone. As a volunteer, Crown Princess Victoria did everything from dividing the food in the packages to cooking and serving coffee. Crown Princess Victoria is patron of the Stockholm City Mission.

In addition, Crown Princess Victoria met police officers riding Segways in Södermalm. The Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing personal transporter. In 2018, the police of Stockholm adopted segways as a transportation method to be used in the patrols of the old town. Södermalm, often shortened to just Söder, is a district and island in central Stockholm.
