  1. The Queen looks very beautiful, as usual, even with a mask covering most of her face. And, the topic of discussion is very important. Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the King and Queen have had many video conferences and, lately, several in-person conferences. In none of them have I noticed a female, other than the Queen, in a position of authority. I find that interesting.

    1. Hello, I just want to point out that Spain’s govern’t has always had women in key roles. But, President Pedro Sánchez (his title is that of president, not Prime Minister), has made history because out of 16 cabinet positions, 10 are women & the vice president is also a woman, Carmen Calvo. (Outside Spain they call her Deputy Prime Minister.) Also, in one of the Zoom meetings I can see 2 women. Respectfully, Ana (Also, want to mention my youngest son’s name is Sean Magnus. Great name!)

  3. There commitment to keeping abreast of world happenings is very refreshing. The King and Queen have been a visual presence from the onset, video and in person. They are inspirational. Well done to both of them. I love what the Queen is wearing very business like, but feminine at the same time.

That’s how you set an example. Well done! Like it or not, wearing masks saves lives. They show why personal opinions on this topic are irrelevant. Civic spirit is what matters. Well done, congratulations!!! CH

In Spain masks are mandatory for everybody, so no personal opinions are allowed.
