  2. What a pretty dress, I love that contrasting collar and the details on the sleeves. They have done a great job of getting educated in this field and getting this message out.

  4. This combination of dress and hair makes her look like an elderly lady.

    Did she cut her hair?

The dress is okay and just okay. It's Kate's take of a granny dress.

  6. The dress is very much Catherine's style--nice fresh springlike colour. Today, she does look as if she has styled her hair herself---not a criticism in these times===but it does make her look older, I think.

    1. There seems to be general agreement on AnnieM's message. I also fully agree, and her makeup is also too strong & dark in my view. But a good job.

    2. I also like the dress. I don't think she looks older, but as if she is tired or feels stressed, which would be no surprise in these days.
Catherine and William really have built up awareness about the mental health-topic. Very good work - and always they put the purpose first, not themselves.

It's not working for me. It's a very matronly outfit, roses or no roses. This hair is disastrous. What's the matter dear Kate? Frieda

Dress is ok to me, love the color on her and the print and her hair is not her best. However, lovely make up and she, along with William, have done such a faithful job highlighting carers and continuing their commitment to mental health. Very well done to them both!

Kate looks great the dress is preppy and summery. The hair is fine it is hard to know how to have a fringe if you have medium length hair;she is getting to know what suits her as she gets older;a punky pixie style would not suit.

I am very encouraged with warm messages of Prince William and Catherine that you are not alone. We are all connected. Social distancing could make the people's relationship stronger, I think. By the way, I love Catherine's new hair style very much.

Those white collars make the dress look so granny style. I hope Kate could put this unflattering style behind. Don't think this hair style fits her face. - Siri

I don't think it is a matter of her hair "style" as much as it is a matter of her not being adept at styling her own hair. Many women can't style their hair as well as a professional is able to. I don't think that is anything terrible. She is just like any other woman.

Kate's working clothes are, more often than not, ageing. I don't think she needs to dress so conservatively as the future queen consort. When thinking of an example of age appropriate style and position, Letizia comes to mind. She is older than Kate, but still dresses in a more modern, fashionable way. Her attire does not distract from her duties in any way.
