OMGosh....I loved every single one of these videos, especially the ones of the veterans telling their stories. Their humility and appreciation for life brought tears to my eyes. I think the biggest tribute to their bravery is for the media to tell, share and spread their valiant stories (real news), so that we who are alive because of them can ensure that such a war never happens again. God bless them all - and all the Royals who so thoughtfully engaged with them.

  5. A nice way to remember this important day in history. Colours of the ladies' outfits range from sombre to bright which is nice to see. I don't think I have ever seen the Princess Royal wearing an Armani or Gucci outfit and probably never will. All that foreign stuff is not her cup of tea. Even her wedding dress (first marriage) which I found to be quite original (the dress, not the marriage) was the work of an English designer, Laureen Baker ??? of the British fashion house known as Susan Small.

Loved all of these videos and to those from the World’s Greatest Generation God Bless you all and thanks. Everyone looks lovely I thought this was one of Camilla’s best looks. If anyone has a chance the video of everyone singing We’ll Meet Again was so wonderful.

  7. In spite of lockdown, yesterday was just such a lovely day in the UK as these videos demonstrate. Not sure if my neighbours appreciated it but I was outside singing We'll meet again with the rest of the country just after 9 pm. It's especially emotional in the current circumstances.
I love Camilla's green coat and hat--she looks fantastic, the colour and cut of Catherine's dress is superb. the Queen's pale blue is lovely and blue always suits her. I like Sophie's dress and Princess Anne is just so great that what she wears doesn't matter! :)

  8. The Queen looked superb. I loved the double aqua brooch, it is a gorgeous piece. Camilla looked marvellous in her outfit, the length and fit was perfect. The scarf draped over her shoulders was the perfect finishing touch.

I admire how the British Royal Family bounces back after every ... They have done a great job connecting with the people during this time. Its always amazing to hear these stories of World War 2. I like Duchess Kate's dress, its well suited for the day's celebration, even if its a virtual occasion. Miss W.
