What a lovely idea from all of them. That really touched my heart. I’m sure, Daisy was thrilled.
All the best for your 80th birthday, your majesty!

Thanks for this video, it's so cool! Nice to see how the other royals love and appreciate Queen Margrethe and are showering her with compliments & good wishes. Of course, the British royals are nowhere to be found (as usual). Turning 80 is a huge milestone; although to Elizabeth & Philip, Daisy is just a kid, haha.

And, after all, Daisy does love the attention. Happy 80th Birthday!

There is also a little video from Daisy's grandkids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=RDCMUCnSw8KwlhbHX_ZPPTwOr2vA&v=R7cQaIk2lbM&feature=emb_rel_end

      Hilarious!

They will have made their wishes privately. Not everything has to be done for the eyes of the world.

  10. That was really nice. I like how they all joined in with the surprise greetings. I especially like the Scandinavians. Sonja thanking for years of friendship, Victoria bringing the whole family and Danish flags, Carl-Philip sending warm greetings to his godmother etc. Also Felipe came across as very sweet.
On the other hand, Henri looks a bit stiff reading from a script, Philippe´s greetings were extremely minimalistic (didn´t even adress her), and Willem-Alexander ended up sending a corona speech rather than birthday greetings.
Still, nice joint effort, and I´m sure it was well received and appreciated.

For goodness sakes!!! Why pick these kind people to death, They were edited so how do you know willem-Alexander only spoke about the corona virus or Henri looks stiff. Try to find some good during these difficult times!!! SMILE VENESSA.....

W.A.’s tribute was indeed totally out of place!
This is a birthday surprise, and life goes on, yes we are allowed to have some pleasure, although we dó know that a great many people live in misery!

I am sure Queen Elizabeth wished queen Margrethe a very special birthday. As we know the British Royals are very private and do things in their style.....Happy Birthday Queen Margrethe I was looking forward to seeing all the festivities as no one knows how to throw down like you!!!

Exactly. I was just about to write the same thing.
We know that the two Queens are quite close. Margarethe has often publicly said so about Elizabeth, and that they are essentially family. It's without doubt that the BRF would have sent a more than appropriate personal and private greeting. Furthermore since QEII is considerably more senior than QM, it may not have been seen as appropriate protocol for her to participate in something like this, nor for other BRF members who would have then overshadowed her absence.

  13. I also wished King Philippe & Mathilde did something more personal with a dedicated picture. Nothing at all from the UK is a pity in my view since there were different possibilities. Albert & Charlene have their own concerns right now.

How do you know King Philippe and Queen Mathilde did not do more, Maybe they did do more directly but did not feel like they had to inform the world. For all we know they might have sent her 4 dozen daisies or roses (get it daisies). Queen Elizabeth and Queen Margrethe are cousins and rather close from what Queen Margrethe said but Queen Elizabeth is a very private person and would probably wished her a happy birthday in private for her ears only. Quit assuming the worse everyone!
