According to the British royal family's official website, several royal weddings have taken place at Chapel Royal, including Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg, their eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal to Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia, and the Duke of York and Princess Victoria Mary of Teck. The location is also the same chapel where Prince George was baptized in October 2013.

A small private venue was the best option after all the drama these past months.
    Wishing them all the best.

Well this seems like a good solution to the P. Andrew problem - still a ‘royal’ wedding but much more low key than others have been. I think the garden reception will be lovely at that time of year. (V.M.)

Finally a wedding date. I hope we see more Royals then celebs,so many are hanger on's. I am just sad we may not see very many pic's of the Wedding. And as some one else said the P.A. situation. He is accused found guilty by the Court of Public Opinions, this means nothing at all. I am speaking as a Victim of such a crime, many years ago. In the age of # Me Too, it seams that only the Public Opinion counts but not where it really counts, a Court of Law.Read the book GUILT by ACCUSATION by Alan Dershowitz. It is a bit of an eye opener. Thank you for letting me say that.

    1. Prince Andrew will never acquiesce to having a trial in the court of law so the court of public opinion is the only thing we have right now.

Interesting that you're taking the word of Dershowitz, who has also been accused by Robert's and another alleged victim. Dershowitz is currently in a defamation case with Robert's so we will see what happens. But unlike Andrew there case will be taken to court.

  6. That will be both a beautiful venue for the wedding, and one with plenty of historical significance going for it. It’s particularly lovely that Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were married there; Beatrice is named after one of their daughters. She also played a small role in a movie about Queen Victoria some years ago, and I believe she even chose a Victorian theme for one of her birthday parties (18th?).

Beatrice comes across as a nice lady, maybe more reserved than her sister. I wish her happiness and that people would let her enjoy her big day wo dragging her father problem into it. A child can't be held responsible for father actions.

  9. Compte-tenu des circonstances cette chapelle St James est un très bon choix avec les jardins de Buckingham à proximité. Mariage intime et discret, parfait pour éviter les polémiques dues à Andrew.

  11. They seem a lovely couple and I hope they get the wedding they want. It is sad that her father's deeds have overshadowed her moment. However, these are wonderful locations for the wedding and reception. Cheers to the lovely couple!

Princess Beatrice is such a lovely young lady;she will make a great representative for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, when she steps up to take on more official duties. The older Dukes and Duchesses are all of a good age.May is such a lovely time to marry;my son is getting married then;in the chapel of his private school;to an english rose from Yorkshire.I wish all couple's marrying in May A long and happy life together.(Tara;from Australia)
