The open neck and collar give this dress a sporty vibe. It’s a nice change of pace for D. Camilla, although I wonder why she’s wearing her suede boots with it. (V.M.)

    1. Camilla wears those boots so often that I've wondered whether she feels they give her legs needed support and stability. She has campaigned for osteoporosis awareness and research, as osteoporosis has affected women in her family. Or, possibly she wears them for warmth? Regardless, I'd love to see her add other colors and other types of leather to her boot wardrobe.

I believe that she has worn this outfit before (or perhaps something similar with a pleated skirt?) and I liked it then as much as I like it now. The collar is very light and open which is nice to see at this time of year (Winter) when clothing is usually buttoned up to the neck, and the pleated panels on the skirt fall and flow easily. The boots match well but the outfit allows transition to Spring or early Summer with shoes as well. Very nice.

  3. C'est peut-être une jolie toilette mais ces plis creux de couleur blanche n'avantagent pas la silhouette de Camilla... A mon avis, la fermeture-éclair est un très mauvais choix !

When I saw the first few pics of Camilla from the waist up I thought what a nice classic look for her, but the skirt bit is rather...interesting. It just reminds me of my cheerleading skirt back in the day. I went to a private school so we wore longer skirts like this. But I do give her cheers for supporting this very worthy cause.

This is a very lovely dress, the white and navy great contrast.

  7. At first glance, I did not care for the skirt of Camilla's dress, but the more I look at it, the better I like it. I think it has a slimming effect. She does prefer boots this time of year and, for the most part, they do not detract from her overall appearance. Her jewelry was subdued today as it should be for this casual look.

Good look on her, slight departure from her typical dress tailoring style and it’s refreshing. Since the event is at Clarence House she probably didn’t have to get outside, so boots seem a little out of place. Still, not detracting from the overall elegance and feel of old school classic style.

  10. Like this dress which I think the Duchess has worn previously. The white panels elevate it from an ordinary working outfit. Like a number of other posters, I certainly think it would be improved by wearing shoes rather than the dark boots. Very worthwhile cause.
