I realize it's a very sad occasion but this is one of the very best looks I've seen on Sophia. Sophisticated, stylish and chic. She should get the same outfit in a more festive color (or color combo) to wear at other events.

Again a sad day for the SRF. Everyone look'd good. I like Victoria's dress and Sofia's hat. The Q always look good.

I agree! Somber occasion and their faces reflect their sadness but I love the cut and style of Sofia's outfit and her hat. I like Queen Silvia's hat on her also. Eve

  5. Agree with above comments. The Queen always looks really put together and age appropriate without being frumpy. She is beautiful.
I think Sophia looks fantastic tho I'm not a fan of fur. Victoria looks okay, nothing special, but this is a solemn occasion so I get it.

  6. A sad occasion for the Royal family. I have to agree, Sophia looked outstanding, so elegant. Her coat is beautifully crafted. Love her hat, and gorgeous pearl drop earrings. Queen Silvia looked lovely. The addition of the white scarf, blended in well with her black suit and beautiful pearls.

  7. Petite rectification, il ne s'agissait pas des obsèques de Dagmar Von Arbin, décédée en décembre, mais d'une cérémonie d'hommage.

    1. It was a funeral. If you look at some other photos you will see the coffin in the church and also the coffin being carried outside. According to the Swedish law a funeral should to take place no later than 30 days after death.

  8. So sad an occasion but she had good innings. Remarks on clothes here are very inappropiate

  9. En cette triste occasion, beaucoup d'élégance chez la princesse Sofia ; ravissante la reine dans ce superbe tailleur auquel ont été ajoutées une écharpe blanche et de belles perles !

  10. I´m surprised to see Victoria without a coat. Clearly, they all went inside straight away, and the men didn´t wear any outer coats either, but it´s still a weird sight in January in Sweden.
