The Countess of Wessex visited the University of Surrey

On January 29, 2020, The Countess of Wessex officially opened a new Health Sciences Institute at the University of Surrey. During the opening ceremony, the Countess met with university staff and students who will benefit from the new facilities. The building is named after Kate Granger MBE, a NHS doctor who led the "hellomynameis" campaign which aims to promote healthcare staff to establish a personal connection with patients for the purpose of gaining better health outcomes.

During her visit, the Countess viewed a simulation suite recreating clinical scenarios which students may face in their careers. In addition, the Countess visited purpose-built wards replicating hospital situations. In these wards, student nurses and midwives improve their clinical care skills.

  1. Avec ce manteau d’un rose pastel et les cheveux lâchés, cela donne un look très doux approprié pour cette inauguration.. J’aime beaucoup ses jolies boucles d’oreilles !

  5. Nice to see the Countess of Wessex with a relaxed hairstyle as opposed to up-do's or ponytails.
She is a real Asset to the Royal Family and seems to take her work very serious.
I like the off white/ pale pink coat with a pink top over a simple pair of black trousers. It looks fresh and polished, and very appropriate for the occasion.

      Stimmt, sehe ich genauso.
Je älter, desto schöner wird sie (lässt mich hoffen :-)
Auch ihre Haare scheinen immer länger zu werden...

Classiest looking of the "royals". Blonde is so nice. Knows she's busy with committments, but take a minute to touch up roots. Your smile is greatest of royals. Your daughter is sweet looking and classier than Sarah F.'s daughters.. Yours looks genuine and classier than others. I hope she will be chosen to do more as she continues to mature.

  10. She looks 10 years younger in these pictures. I love the natural look of her blond hair, blue eyes, and freckles. The coat and what I can see of her blouse and pants are very becoming. The earrings, which might be golden leaves, are nice.

  12. Lovely soft outfit, colour suits her perfectly. Just love how the Countess quietly gets on with the job, minimum amount of fuss but has tremendous work ethic. This was a great visit and must have been very uplifting for the university and staff.
