CPss. Victoria looks lovely like her pink suit.Prince Daniel is looking good too.

  2. Could someone sneak into the royal palace and destroy all these ghastly booties? The jacket is a lovely colour and I like the blouse with it too. The rest is just sad.

    1. Not sure if you read it but the Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor had a similarly hilarious comment about all the see-through dresses that became the rage (way too often, they all looked the same). She said "Can we kill this trend? Can we kill it with fire?"

    2. I don't agree with the type of comment of Annie. Even if said with humour I don't agree to kill all what is not in line with personal taste. Maybe the length of trousers is not adapted; I like the booties.

I love the colour combination here, and the fit is excellent. The bow tie blouse appears to be her signature item these days. I don’t love this style but clearly she does ;-). (V.M.)

  4. Love this suit, jacket and blouse are lovely. Boots are a miss for me.

  5. The length of Victoria’s jacket, combined with the weirdly cropped pants, throws the proportions of this outfit badly out of whack. And the booties are terribly unflattering to the line of the legs — I totally agree with AnnieM above that they should go.

  6. Très joli blazer rose qui va très bien au teint de Victoria ; le pantalon est un peu trop court pour être en accord avec les bottines dont la couleur correspond à celle d'un des motifs du chemisier !

  7. This is a really hard color to wear for some women. Victoria looks wonderful in it. I concur about the booties but it might be the least way she can shake up the formulaic of Crown Princess ensembles and make them seen... youthful or edgy.

Before criticizing her preference for boots or booties in winter time, one should remember that she lives in a northern country with a generally colder climate than that of Madrid, for instance. And there is nothing wrong with shorter looking legs, either. :)

    1. You are right that one should dress for the climate and that booties are a sensible choice of footwear in winter. But: neither her cropped trousers nor her delicate suede shoes are suitable for cold climate. I am 100% certain that she chose and combined those things for fashion reasons alone. Unfortunately, in my view, her fashion choices are very poor and do absolutely nothing to enhance her beauty.
Also, there is of course nothing wrong with shorter looking legs, but it´s not an effect that women commonly strive for. Instead, most women try to visually make their legs look longer, ideally by creating a continuous leg line extending from waist to foot including heels to further add length to that line. Victoria though does the opposite here - her long jacket, her cropped trousers and her booties all cut through that vertical line, which totally messes up all proportions. Jane expressed that very well above, and I agree.

I am sorry to say, but to my eyes Victoria´s outfit looks absolutely hideous - the bow blouse, the double-breasted jacket, and worn open to boot, the cropped trousers, the booties, the bag which clashes with what would have been a coherent colour combination at least. I don´t enjoy following Victoria´s appearances fashionwise because she seems to insist on wearing everything that I despise. But I must say that Daniel has looked awesome lately.

  9. Kapsel veranderen zou al eens leuk zijn.

  10. Each piece separately is fine, put them all together and is a mismatch.

  11. Not good. Cropped pants with short boots is a big no no. The blazer is OK, but these bow tie blouses do not fit under a blazer. Victoria could do much beter with only small changes.

I liked the photograph of the model in all pink. You can just see Crown Princess Victoria is there for all of the right reasons and that is to make sure all are treated equally!
