The Queen was deemed worthy of the award for her commitment in the struggle against domestic and gender violence and the support she provided to the victims. The Observatory against domestic and gender violence plays an effective role in analysing the response of the justice system to this criminal phenomenon. ردحذفBrooches are not on fashion, it is a very outdated thing for old women. Only Queen Sofía,wears them and she is 81 years old. Here thing sounds every day more outdated. I do not know anyone wearing those things, she only has worn one at military events.

I think I read somewhere that Queen Letizia purposefully wears high street clothing and minimal jewelry so as to not seem extravagant given Spain's economic situation. I'm sure most people would like to wear watches or jewelry. Seems like she's conscious about optics.

حذفI am sorry but I do find these awards and prizes quite ridiculous. Letizia, Mathilde, Abdullah, all receiving prizes and rewards for their extreme efforts.......really, it is their job to support good causes. Normal people who work all their lives under difficult conditions never get an award.

She dedicated the award to the 52 women who have been killed so far this year, (more than one per week!) the children who have also been killed or orphaned, and the people who work to put an end to the violence. The Queen looks beautiful. Love this coat dress, very smart, accessories perfect choice.. Yes a brooch would have been nice. They definitely are not for older people, they are a lovely jewellery accessory. I wear them a lot with scarfs.
