Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf visited Lessebo

On September 26, 2019, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Lessebo in south Sweden to attend the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Lessebo Paper Mill. Upon arrival at Herrgården in Lessebo, the King and Queen were welcomed by representatives from Lessebo Municipality and Lessebo Paper AB. Then, an anniversary ceremony was held to celebrate the paper mill's 300 years in Lessebo. The King and Queen also visited Hackebacke School in Lessebo, which actively works to increase interest in science, mathematics and technology.

On September 25, 2019, 25 students from Adolf Fredrik's music classes came to the Royal Palace to receive a diploma from the Queen's hand. Students from Adolf Fredrik's music classes won the Mayflower Donation Collection competition in 2019. The students who have participated in Mayflower donation campaign and who have collected the highest amount donations won the competition. The money collected by Mayflower donation event is used all year for children to lessen the effect of poverty and financial defenselessness.

    Queen Silvia looks younger these days; she seems so joyful and happy; and beautiful, as usual. Her purple suit with the green scarf is beautiful and fits her perfectly. The teal coat is very flattering. The burgundy and black suit is also nice. King Carl Gustaf looks especially animated at this event and his smiles are a welcomed sight. He is quite handsome and I think Prince Carl Phillip favors him.

    Mode: die Königin sieht immer so elegant aus und die Farben stehen ihr sehr gut.
    Highlight: Foto 1 und 5 - ein Paar, das sich wieder gefunden hat - nach all dem Gedöns freut mich das für beide!°

    The queen does look happier these days. I think she is enjoying her grandchildren a lot.

    I know this a fashion blog but I have to say, I love the diversity of students at the school and the apparent inclusiveness.
