I rarely dislike her style, but this is not working for me. The pieces are " just" OK separately, and the color combination is smart, I think it's the volume of both top and bottom, the blouse is very loose, and paired with a pencil or A line skirt, or slim pants, it would've looked so much more elegand and figure flattering. Same applies to the skirt, a tailored top, possibly cream, moss green, or even chocolate, with a boat neck and voila!!
ردحذفThe shoes in my opinion are a fail, they scream summer but the clothes say autumn , I am sure that they are expensive but I would wear this style to go to the store, or just paired with a denim skirt, not so much with this outfit.
Agree with Cherry Blossom as almost always. Caroline is one of the most elegant wonen IMO. When she was younger she was extraordinarily beautiful. None of the nowadays Queens and princesses comes near, considering all the work that has (cleverly but nonetheless) has been done to their faces.... Caroline was and is a natural. But .,... this is a miss😉

You have said exactly what I was thinking. All okay but for me, it’s the shoes which are the main ‘spoiler’. In spite of the amount of material in the skirt, with smarter shoes, she might have pulled this off. Lily T, I would argue that for a woman in her 60s she is still extraordinarily beautiful. She has such great bone structure and an amazing smile. She also looks so much better than others of a similar age who have had ‘work done’ in a bid to look younger.

I agree with you AnnieM as well! Caroline is still a beautiful woman. But I wanted to remind that the beauty ‘queens’ of today, Mary, Letizia, Maxima, have all tons of work done. They were nice looking women when they started out, but not more than that, who have been groomed, styled, beautified and filled to the max.....whereas Caroline was a dazzling beauty from the beginning, from her early teens....

Agree that Caroline has always been a very attractive woman, and it looks like she is confident enough as to not haven't done anything too radical to her face ( yet). Nowadays is difficult for people of means to strike a balance,but even amongst us mere mortals, nature is "improved ". we make sure our kids wear braces for a perfect smile, we whiten our teeth , dye our hair , use many lotions and potions to combat bad skin, change the shape of our brows, tan our bodies, etc,. One could argue that getting a few fillers or shaping a nose is more of the same.
