  3. Get rid of the bows and the outfit would have been more stunning.

Keep the bows because they make the outfit unique and show personality instead of slippery mainstream. Christine

    2. I tried to like the bows, but for me they are a real barrier to elegance here.

Beatrix always gives careful attention to her hair and makeup, and I admire her for getting out among the people and bringing smiles to their faces even though she is retired.

For me, bows (and a couple of other things more in fashion) are age independent. Maybe we should change our associations about accessoires like this? We all did it for colours and hair (nobody thinks any more that only young women/girls should wear pink or a ponytail). Old women have to refrain from so many things, for example baring too much skin. So for God's sake, let them wear things that do not make them younger but do make them nicer to look at. I like this dress, shoulder, and arms and length of the jacket/blouse very typical and flattering for Beatrix. And the bow, especially the one in the front, is a real eyecatcher.

  5. Ravissante mais sans ces nœuds, l'ensemble serait très chic !!!

Nice cut to the outfit, is figure flattering, colors are nice, however, I would get rid of the bows, they make the outfit rather odd looking. Anne

How refreshing to see a regal lady who does not fiddle around with her face, as opposed to other royals. Her perfect hair, her lovely smile, her original clothes, her sense of duty and her compassion are all powerful messages.
