Japanese Princess Kako's visit to Budapest, 1st and 2nd day

Princess Kako is currently making a 4 day working visit to Hungary. Princess Kako met with Hungarian President Janos Ader and his wife, Anita Hercegh at the presidential Alexander Palace in Budapest and there, she attended a lunch. The Princess then visited the Parliament building and met with Japanese citizens living in Hungary at Hotel Four Seasons in Budapest. Earlier on Saturday, the Princess visited a national horse farm in Babolna, and visited a library at Pannonhalma Archabbey. Afterwards, the Princess attended a dinner in Budapest celebrating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Hungary.

  1. Adorable Kako dans toutes ces toilettes ; j'aime particulièrement son kimono aux teintes très douces qui va très bien à son teint !!!

  2. Princess Kako is an amazing young lady. Her smile is radiant, and her demeanor is so engaging. Her style is conservative but very pleasing. Her kimono is beautiful, of course, but I was pleasantly surprised to see her in slacks. The camel blazer with dark pants and grayish shoes is a very good look. Her blue dress and jacket, while pretty, might be a bit too large for her. The pearls are, as always, pretty. The tweed A-line dress with brown jacket is very attractive. Her brooch is a nice touch, though too small to make out the details. Princess Kako seems poised and at ease at all of her engagements.

Nice outfits the most elaborate is the Kimono. I also like the ensemble from the First lady.

  5. I am aware that this is a fashion blog, but want to express that my appreciation is focused at a very different level! It is wonderful to see how comfortable and with great dignity Princess Kako is managing the interactions at different levels.

Yes! I noticed that too, aside from the clothes. She seems to interact and engage very well. Good on her! She recently spent a year studying at the University of Leeds in the UK.

  6. I love all these outfits, particularly the warm cinnamon jacket with the elegant, textured dress underneath, and brown pumps. The pants outfit, similarly, is perfectly tailored and totally adorable (I find myself using that word a lot wrt Kako -- can't help it).

Another gorgeous kimono, a classically beautiful garment that transcends fashion.

  7. The white suit of the Hungarian first lady is stunning. What a beautiful design! It fits her really well except one little thing: the neckline is too tight around her neck. Princess Kako´s brown jacket with a similar cut looks more comfortable for the neck. (That brown outfit also is her best one here, despite the colour).

I agree, I don't understand/appreciate her style, but she looks well put together and impeccable, plus very comfortable and confident, well done!!

  9. What great outfits for lovely Princess Kako. The kimono is beautiful and the blue suit would be my favourite but it does not seem to fit well. The other outfits look good too. Love the President's wife's white outfit
