  2. Think this may be the most flattering dress Meghan has worn so far--she certainly looks a lot trimmer than in the baggier outfits she has favoured.
I think it is great that she is recycling outfits, especially after the criticism she has received for the astronomical cost of her wardrobe, but maybe there's a balance to be struck. If I were one of the people waiting to see her I think I'd feel a little miffed that I was only worthy of repeats, when Australia/New Zealand etc got new outfits all the time--as if this is a sort of second class tour. I am certain that would never be the intention and I know it's a different sort of tour. Does anyone know why she's not wearing her engagement ring on the tour so far?

If she recycles she is offensive if she wears new stuff she is insensitive .., OMG!!!!

    3. I am sorry Anon 2:19, but I find your comment very rude and offensive. Annie shared her thoughts in a nice and respectful way, and in my opinion, she makes some good points too. I think there is no reason to react so unfriendly.

Love this take on jumpsuit dressing, and the colors are just right. @Annie. The tour is about the personalities, their empathy, their ability to connect with the public, and relay an image of The Firm as inclusive and supportive of their hosts, NOT their clothes. How do we know that Harry is not wearing the same biscuit colored and dark suits from the Far East, Morocco and Australia? His shoes, and sneakers yesterday are not new either. This is sexist. She is not a dress up doll.
Asking why someone is not wearing their rings is an invasion of their personal life. A simple conclusion could be that they were advised to keep the showy bling to a minimum. After all, they are meeting people who have lost their homes, their heritage, their way of life, and customs of their ancestors. It is all available if one chooses to read. - MB

I like her off-centered part when wearing her hair down. Tucking her hair behind her ear shows off her earrings. Olive green is a nice shade on her. The dress is slightly too long for me. (I would be be constantly steeping on the hem.) Not sure about her shoe choice.

Not a bad looking dress,I like the stripes, but a tiny bit too tight and too long. She is rested and has a nice smile. I wish them the best on this tour.

Nice to see the Duchess re-using so many past outfits on this trip. Setting a very good example.
This dress looked better when she wore it the first time but it is still very passable this time around and it accentuates her glowing post-baby figure a little more. However, she looks healthy and radiant and you can't beat her lovely smile. I like her hair here very much too. It's loose but not untidy.

  7. I don't like the dress and it's ill-fitting.
But I do love her side swept hair, it suits her face much better than parted in the middle. And of course I love to see how happy, relaxed and interested she looks. Very sweet.
She is doing really well, together with her husband!

I actually really like this look on her. She looks pretty, approachable and yes, it all looks like decent nod to her host country.

@12:57 The people there obviously do not care whether it is a dress or pantaloons. This couple attracts well wishers wherever they go, and regardless of the silhouette, the colors are a nod to their hosts. This is a tr*lling fail. - B.

  10. Perfection! Unrelated, what happened to the usual layout of the home page? The "daily" stories are no longer listed on the left side of the page with a short preview and small photo. Instead, I need to go to the blog archive. Has anyone else noticed this change? Thank you.

Hello everybody who posts here. I have been following this blog a long time. The comments here are not something I would want to read about myself, friend or relative. Fat, messy, unkempt, "better" than yesterday. These are horrible horrible comments. I can only ask that you really give some thought to what you are publishing. Have a nice day. /aa/

Couldn't agree more. A good guideline to follow is if there are something we wouldn't say to our friends, family, face to face to a stranger or would like someone to say to us or our family we shouldn't say it either. Then we know it's mean and not behavior we expect from adults.

    2. aa,I don't think any of the things you quote are horrible comments. Of the phrases you mention, the only word I would be unlikely to use directly to friend, family or colleague would be "fat" which I would probably turn round into "heavy" or "unflattering" and it's the only one I would be offended by ---even when true! :-(
However, while courtesy and consideration are essential, the implication that we should only post positive comments should be resisted. There does seem to be an unusual backlash against negative comments about Meghan and yet Maxima and Victoria, to name but two, often, understandably, get really harsh criticism for what they wear.

  15. Another suitable outfit - I like the well tailored jumpsuit and no, she doesn‘t look fat. As long as a few pounds more on the scale no longer becomes an ideology, everything‘s fine.

  19. Wow AA, I fully agree with you, there are words that are just rude, and an outfit can be criticized without demeaning the wearer. However, I remember your comment on a previous post calling Meghan affectatious and un-likeable, so is it acceptable for you to use those adjective that have nothing to do with fashion, but are truly personal? Some people even called you out on it, and then you come here and lecture other writers... WOW just WOW!!
Well, I suggest that you apply your advice to yourself.

    3. AA, Nope, I didn't miss anything , you published those words, called her the following:
Affectatious: meaning, pretentious, artificial, fake, sham, doing something for show.
Unlikeable: meaning, not having pleasant or appealing qualities.
And you still have the nerve to call out people because they use words that generally refer to her clothing....
      Please give me a break!!

@ 11:52, the constant comments about her behaviour without any examples are also rude. She has been nothing but gracious in the images that we have seen over time. Behaviour usually refers to doing something. If you have no evidence then do not imply otherwise. Freedom of speech is not the freedom to denigrate others for no reason. Belle
