She is barely wearing make-up, that's all. What an exaggeration!! She's beautiful yet.

    3. I too am certain that is not Letizia. The Queen’s hair is now all one color. This woman has roots of a different color.

It is her cousin!! This is the last nonsense I have read!! Roots?? Where??

Another person travelled with the King and entered into the school and spoke with the teachers....as in Spain we did not know them!! They go out for dinner with friends, we know them well...

      Come on!!

    6. Every year for the past few years, the queen has appeared dressed casually, with little makeup and wearing sneakers. This year is no exception. No need to stand out from the crowd or overshadow the other mothers with an overly grand entrance. Teenagers 'die' of shame for just about everything.

Ah, the King's daughters. Nice school uniforms. Now THAT's how royals drop their royal children off at school (HSH Charlene of Monaco take note!). /Julie/

The School uniforms are OK, but the socks IMO should at least reach the knees. I like the casual look of Letizia.

It is the way uniforms are worn here nowadays, they do not like them and it is how they are more modern or less conservative.

Why can’t girls too have trousers in their uniforms...? That would give them much more freedom of movement etc. I would have hated such short skirts at that age, luckily in my country kids don’t use school uniforms.

In fact girls shorten the skirts, they like to wear them like that. The days they have "sports" at school they wears pants.

In Spain only the private and concerted schools wear a uniform.

Parents asked for them, in fact it is easier and cheaper than some "brands" you end up buying because others wear them.

    4. At my daughters private school in Atlanta, GA, trousers were never worn by the girls even though they could be purchased at the uniform store. During winter months, girls just wore heavy leggings and longer coats. The pants were considered strictly for boys and not cool for girls unless you were a tomboy.

Strange question. If the school has a standard uniform that is what it is. Either the parents and children comply or find a school that allows trousers. This is the age where growing girls are all arms and legs. They try to get away with as short a skirt as the school will allow, and these skirts are no means short. In few weeks they will exchange the socks for thick stockings. - M.

Divina.

Where is the "these skirts are waayyy too short" group if you need it??? To me it is pure nonsense that girls still have to dress in skirts just because some oldfashioned member of the board of a private school wants it that way. Christine.

Actually, there are the parents who ask for the uniforms to not struggle in the mornings to dress them in what children like or dislike or brands...
When I had to think about new clothes every day it was the hell..the uniform is comfy....
