Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella started school at Stella

Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella started school at Stella nursery school which is a public school in the district of Condamine in Monaco. On September 10, Tuesday, accompanied by their parents, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, they arrived at their new school where they will receive education for 4/5 years. Last year, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were educated at La Petite Ecole, a private pre-school institution on Port Hercule. On her Instagram account, Princess Charlene released a photo of a cloakroom, showing two small school bags hanging under the names of Jacques and Gabriella with the comment "busy in school"

  1. Gorgeous kids, Gabriella's curls are always in braids.
Nice to see Charlene in color consistently, off shoulder dresses are her favourite lately.

Sorry, I don t like the dress. Colours are fine but... she seems bigger than she is

La robe portée par Charle est belle.
Cependant,je ne la trouve pas adaptée pour l accompagnements des enfants à la rentrée scolaire.
    Le enfants sont mignons.
    J aime leur tenue.
    Albert égal à lui même

  4. Oh, dear. This limp "cold shoulder" dress looks just terrible on Charlene. The bunchy empire waist distorts her figure, and of course a long sheer or semi-sheer dress worn over a short slip or lining is another problem. At best, this seems a very weird choice for accompanying the wee ones on fist day of school.

    1. I agree and as I said the other day, she seems to be "at another event," and unaware of what others are doing and wearing. It is so unnecessary to make her stand out in a crowd because she is tall, statuesque, has a commanding look. The recent switch to color and longer hair is very welcome.

    2. Very much agreed. She has so much potential!

  6. Incredibly cute kids.
However, I don‘t like the new style of Charlene. I prefer her previous extravagance. Even if you are not in the center of attention as a mother, this dress, especially the top, is shapeless and unadventurously.

The girl looks so much like grace kelly....Incredible.

  8. Although I love long maxi, summery dresses, worn with flat sandals to go out and about, this is not it, the cold shoulder is well executed, but as the dress continues it looses its shape, very unflattering around the bust, awkward waist line, the sheer fabric gives it a more dressy vibe as well as the sandals, and the above the knee slip is a disaster. Not a good look today and a little disconnected with the occasion.

  9. J'ame tellement la relation que Jacques entretient avec sa mère. Pourvu que leur complicité reste toujours ainsi.

  10. La Princesse Charlène seems to care less about her style and appearance of late. She'd made some disturbing choices of garment in the last couple of weeks. It makes me shake my head slightly. Sorry to say.

    1. Agree. Two last weeks with surprising choices. Colourful long dresses with africano vibes. Quite different to her usual Akris attires, much more appropiate. Nevertheless, her new hair cut is really becoming.

What a simply awful dress for any occasion, and certainly not suitable for a "school run" (ditto the shoes). Even Albert is open-collar casual. She looks quite uncomfortable (dress and face); something is not quite right. /Julie/

    2. Das dachte ich mir auch schon als sie letzte Woche dieses komische Kleid trug. Eventuell war eine Schwangerschaftsübelkeit auch der Grund, warum sie zur Hochzeit gefehlt hat.

I have been thinking the same! The last 2-3 appearances with loose flowing lines or awkward waistline certainly make her look pregnant. The face seems fuller too...

    4. I also wonder if she's pregnant.

    5. I had the same thought. Face and body look fuller.

Jacques seems too old to be carried. Gabriella is adorable.

    2. Yes, it is as if she does not want him to become a big boy. Maybe Jacques is a little shy in public or unknown situations, this is often the case with children at that age. But Charlene seems to be overprotective. ALbert does not approve, you can often tell by his looks. It is okay to support your child's confidence, but I would say she did not do him a favour to carry the big boy into the classroom on the first day of school. The pictures will last.

    3. My mum did her best, but I would have liked her to have given me the same love and care that Charlene seems to be giving to her children, especially her son. OH! the dress seems to be out of character with the situation but that's another story for another day.
