The photos were taken on the West Coast and Blå Jungfrun at Kalmar Strait. The Crown Princess family spent parts of July in Bohuslän. حذفI’ve stayed out of the prolonged shorts spat, but at this point I will say that I think those who objected to the shorts Catherine wore during the regatta were reacting to a couple of the photos, more than to the shorts. In the group photo, it is clear that the shorts were reasonably modest, not “short shorts” — BUT because of the angle at which they were taken, a couple of the other photos are pretty eye-popping, and give the impression that shorts were a lot shorter than they actually were. I think the reaction from the “nothing wrong with royals in shorts” camp has perhaps been a little excessive. If it had not been for those misleading — and imo unfortunate — photos, nothing would have been said and shorts on royals would have remained a non-issue.

ردحذفWhat I have observed Britain has different standards then other royal families about proper dressing when out in public. They seem a bit stuffy, but that is their culture. For example... the Queen almost always wears gloves, but you don't see other royal queens always in gloves. I think it is her generation on what is proper and she will always dress that way. Not saying there is anything wrong with it, we dress differently than our grandparents did. It is just generations have their own way of dressing.I can say the Queen of England has a radiant smile.
