| On August 13, 2019, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attened the Salzburg Festival 2019, (Salzburger Pfingstfestspiele 2019) at Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival House) in Salzburg, Austria. The Salzburg Festival is a prominent festival of music and drama established in 1920. It is held each summer in the Austrian town of Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. |

ردحذفThat is a lovely suit, much more interesting than her usual suits. I like the print of the jacket, the buttons at the waist only, which seem to define her waist better than a whole row of buttons. The pattern's shading leading to white at the top features her face nicely. It is a lovely ensemble with the black and white accents of her shoes, bag and jewelry. Well done!

ردحذفQueen Silvia's outfit is beautiful on her, I love the soft tones of the jacket. The only harsh effect is those shoes, which don't go with her clothes at all, they're better paired with a pants suit for business attire.

I agree with you, the shoes seem out of place. A lovely pair of dove gray shoes would have looked better, however, she is lovely in the outfit and maybe the shoes fit well and were comfortable.

ردحذفThe Queen looks very good, in my opinion. The dress is simple, but the blazer/ jacket adds sparkle and elegance to it.

The Queen looks lovely and smiles cordially at her subjects (or her husband's subjects). The King is always well groomed and attired, but looks ill-at-ease and never smiles. Sadly. he seems uncomfortable in the role he inherited.

ردحذفI like how the buttons hold the jacket in the waist and I like the neckline. The pearl necklace fits perfectly with the neckline in length and colours. Silvia has such a good figure for her age and great posture. I agree with others, the shoes don't really match, grey or black pumps would have looked better.
Queen Silvia looks wonderfully elegant here; the dress, jacket and jewelry are beautifully coordinated, imo. I even think the shoes are just within the bounds of color coordination, although I'd have preferred pale grey pumps.
