ردحذفI think this may be another epic "miss" for Maxima -- it's a shame, because if the horizontal creases in the skirt extended down the whole length of the skirt, rather than just part-way down, they would look intentional rather than like very conspicuous wrinkles. The other unfortunate thing is that the semi-sheer trim around the bottom of the skirt makes the skirt look like a half-slip. (A weird half-slip, but still a half-slip.) If not for these problems, the dress could be quite elegant, imo. Wrt the dispirited-looking cardigan, I can only guess that the day was colder than it looks and someone lent this garment to Maxima. I like that it matches the handbag, though.

ردحذفDon’t like this as much as her more recent outfits. It’s too short, looks quite tight around the middle, though that could be the design of the dress and the formality of lace sits strangely with the fawn cardigan. Not a winner for me.
ردحذفI love the color of the dress; just not the fabric. In my opinion, lace dresses are inappropriate for day time business meetings. Her hair looked very nice, and her earrings are dazzling.
ردحذفA lot of tall people, and Maxima isn’t exactly short either. :-) The dull blue really isn’t her colour, but her smile saves the day every time.

I like the combination of colors and the hair piece. That is all I like. This dress is another mistake for me. The rouching detail around the waist and upper hips does not look good. That is the last place a woman want to add any extra fabric or draw attention, yet she is emphasizing it--again. I can't stop wondering who is advising her. I hope she will continue using hair pieces to try and give her hair time to grow out to a healthy state. I also wish she would try more simple styling, such as basic sheath dresses. Her love of bold jewelry would be better suited to them.

ردحذفBlau mit Beige ist eine altbewährte Kombination. Ein Etuikleid aus Leinen mit dieser Jacke würde mir besser gefallen. Für Queen Maxima wäre das aber wahrscheinlich viel zu langweilig. Ansonsten finde ich, sie sieht klasse aus. Die Haare, das Make-up und die Accessoires harmonieren mit dem Ensemble.

ردحذفThe dress is too fussy for business/day use, and combined with the sweater, it just looks all wrong. Another fabric would have been better suited, not lace.
