    Quelle surprise!
My goodness those are lovely dresses on CP Kiko. A refreshing departure from the normal parade of suits. She almost looks like a different woman, as well as being relaxed and smiling broadly. Nicely done.

Nice looks on Kiki, much better than her usual flair in Japan. I’m warming up to these two.

The princess looks lovely in both outfits. So glad to see they were not the same cookie-cutter boxy suits that all the women have been seen in.

Princess Kiko is turning 53 years old soon. The suit she usually wears makes her look older.
    What a pretty today💞

  9. What a difference a few dresses can make. Kiko needs to bring this style back to Japan, ditching the suits and hats.

Today's outfit of CPss. Kiko is very lovely, one very seldom see flower print dresses on the Pss. This is summery and light. Also a day before the tan and black striped dress was lovely, she has a nice smile one rarely sees.

Japan has very different styles than the west. She is dressing very modern for her country.

  14. How refreshing to see her in that flowery, flowing dress. It suits her so much better than her usual choice of wardrobe. Most of her outfits during this tour make a great and welcome departure from what she used to wear before. Well done!

Wow, perhaps she can talk her sister-in-law into borrowing these outfits (please!). She looks really lovely - still conservative and proper - but modern and, as someone else said, in this century. :-)

  17. The summery, perfectly-tailored floral dress is just beautiful on Kiko; I, too, was startled to see her in it. And, like Masako, she looks years younger than her age.

  19. Agree with all the comments above. Especially like the first dress, a floral that doesn’t overpower! Some European princesses could take note.....and I never thought I’d say that! While both dresses are still conservative I agree with Anon 1.52 that this is probably very modern for the Japanese royal family. Both the Empress and the Crown Princess have looked great in recent appearances. Go, girls!
