ردحذفFrom a one dimensional point of view, the pattern is unusual because of the squares instead of dots. The use of the fabric to create the silhouette was skilfully done. At the neck it is gathered to accommodate the bustline. The band at the middle defines the waist, then gives way to a pleated skirt to give volume, and provide coverage to the lower half of the body. The dress would require a lining if perforated.
