Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited Esch-sur-Alzette city

On June 22, 2019, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg visited Esch-sur-Alzette, before Luxembourg National Day 2019 celebrations. The official celebrations all over the Grand Duchy always start on the eve of National Day. National Day in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is celebrated every 23 June. Meanwhile, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited Bourscheid, in the north of the Grand Duchy. The Hereditary Grand Ducal couple visited the Escher Volleksfest, a public fair celebrating National Day, where they mingled with the people and lit a fire together with young scouts.

Stephanie looks wonderful in her sunshine yellow dress on this first day of summer.

  2. I know this is a fashion blog. I know we have talked about this often and said we shouldn't make assumptions.

But I am convinced that there will be no children in this marriage. If it does happen it better be soon.

Not a fan of the dress. Washes her out.

They are both in their 30s not their 60s. Certain people need to mind their own business and stop policing this lovely couple's reproductive organs.

Relax Diane, she's only 35! The Duchess of Sussex had Archie at 37, QEII had Edward at 38 and Julianne Moore (not a royal but) had Liv at 42. I'm sure they have their reasons.

And Italien Singer Gianna Nannini became a mother aged 54 - so I think dearest Diane Brown you can stop your worries about this issue and go back to the main topic of this blog: fashion. Stephanies dress, hair, earrings go perfectly together and the colour really suits her.

Totally agree with Diane Brown, and Anon 6:49, you can't compare Meghan, and Stephanie, as Stephanie's been married for +/- 10 long years, where Meghan only met Harry, what 3[4] years ago. And HM, at least HAD 2 children ALREADY, and, Andrew, later, and Edward, and even further down in their marriage. And to also go back to the main topic, yes, the dress is a disaster

    6. I had My first at 34 and the last of five at 42, so relax...

Royalty fan, yes you can compare Meghan to Stephanie because the comparison has to do with age, not how long the couples have been married.
Anon 5:53, well said, nobody else has the right to "police this lovely couple's reproductive organs."
Love the yellow dress, fits well and the sleeve style is great!

    8. I'm afraid I have to agree with Diane. When they got wed, they said they wanted a big family. And of course they are still young and have time.
But her belly (seen on several occasions) worries me. It looks very like a so called 'hormonal belly'. It is possible she has an hormonal problem or disorder or she is using hormones to get pregnant. I don't know about it of course, just my thoughts, but I can understand Diane.
My thoughts have nothing to do with the couple itself, I love them and they always look very kind and friendly.
Fashion wise: The colour of the drss is refreshing and nice, but the cut or the material are not so great.

    10. Ladies I can assure you that I am RELAXED. Some of you are it seems NEW here and may not realize that we have had many chats about this issue. I am commenting based on those chats so you can ....relax. Slow your own roll as the kids say.

      I am not policing anyone.

As was stated above they made comments to about a big family. I am fully aware that women have children later these days. I am again pointing out from prior threads here ~ what is the hold up. We have debated this often. If you are aware of those chats then jump in. If not then scroll by.

Yes the dress is not good to me. I do not like the color on her per second. And the cut is not a good fit. It always goes back to her and her rarely getting anything bespoke. But when she does hit it right she always looks wonderful. I do wish she would dress like she did before she got married.

Thanks ladies for the support 😊

And I was so glad, that it came to a stop! So please, leave it and them alone and focus on fashion. Thanks

    13. Agree with your logic, Diane, though I do think it is a shame in this day and age that people are watching the bellies of female royalty and celebs to see if they might be pregnant. Given that the couple stated their desire for a large family, I too suspect, that there may be fertility issues. However, it's their life and they will deal with it as suits them best. It's not as if there is a scarcity of others to inherit the grand ducal throne--unlike the situation in Japan.

I don't understand. "this is a fashion blog but" her dress convinces you they won;t have children? What a stretch. What does it matter to you if they have kids. How many do you have and who told you to have them? What color is their hair? What color are their eyes? Which one looks like you or the father. Did you struggle with labor? Any genetic issues? We need to know all about you and your family to make a judgement as you have.

    15. Well said, Annie. There has already been so much speculation about married Royal ladies, and they are more than breeding horses for the next generation! I simply hope everything will be alright for them.

Stephanie looks lovely, the yellow looks good on her. The fabric must be a mix of linen and something, it wrinkles a bit to much and it being of a light color it can be seen so much easier. I am waiting for the Gala gown on the 23rd and the Tiara.

This yellow is a nice warm tone of yellow, so ok... But the shape end wrinkle! No!

And, IF there is a problem regarding kids, it might just as well be Guillaume and not Stephanie. Just saying.

  18. I love this blog because of the way there are such opposing views, so sincerely held. I looked at this outfit and thought--oh no, Fergie Mark 2 (look at the Ascot pics!) --canary yellow in an unflattering crushed linen type fabric. However, it is bright and cheerful and Stephanie looks lovely. As for beards, I am not a great fan in general but I do think that Guillaume is one of the few who looked better with a beard. Another is Crown Prince Haakon. Not fashion but interesting nonetheless.
