Again - way too casual, the top especially. It´s an odd colour as well, or rather a non-colour i should say. The skirt could have been saved by a crisp white blouse (one that doesn´t look like a hospital staff work outfit).
    Disappointing outfit.

    1. Not too casual for a sport event, however top and skirt not matching very happily.

It´s not a sport event, it´s a high profile committee session. Men in suits + tie, ladies should be in day dresses or suits.
I agree that top and skirt don´t match. Neither colour nor style.

Love solids on her (a break from the florals). This is a nice outfit for this casual event. I do wish she would change her hair, but it seems to work for her - as she travels a great deal.

Her hairstyle is too tight and flat again. You can get a headache just looking at her hair. Dislike her hairy neck.
Agree with Vanessa - some other/color top would have suited this skirt much better! Now this outfit is too casual. Hard to believe she has a stylist.

Agree and if you look up other pictures you will find this super-tight hairstyle is looking very manly.

Yes, it does hurt to see how tightly pulled back her hair is today and most every time we see her. I will never understand why a woman with such a pretty face and nice hair (probably, although we never see all of it) chooses to wear it in such a severe, unattractive way.

The pleated skirt and her hair are quite bad. The shirt is just meh, perhaps with some tailored trousers it could have been better.

I have seen her better. This outfit washes her out, maybe it is comfortable. But she is not there for a fashion show, or make a fashion statement, but to promote Sweden for the 2026 Winter Olympic's.

  7. A soft shade of lipstick would have been nice here. The top, I agree, is unbecomingly drab and (as Anonymous at 3:53 observed) looks rather like a hospital "scrub". A nice blouse in a woven fabric and a little detailing would have put Victoria on a par with her much more formally dressed husband.

  8. Just a note to say that I see I misidentified Vanessa (with whom I agreed :-) as "Anonymous at 3:53".

No worries. I have had trouble logging in properly lately, therefore posting as anonymous. I don´t know what´s up. Has happened before and magically solved itself after a while, I hope it will this time, too.

  10. Um...guess my initial post didn't go thru. I agree that the top looks rather like a hospital "scrub". A nice blouse with a bit of detailing would look sooo much better, and would put Victoria on a par with her much more formally dressed husband.

Poor Victoria. You people criticized her for her endless floral dresses; now you say her outfit is too dull and boring.

When is everyone going to understand that Victoria doesn't want clothes and hair to be the focus. She obviously puts value on what she is doing. Most of the time she is appropriate. She never wears her hair differently. Time to focus on the causes she supports folks. Her fashion is not going to change. How about we try to stop criticizing her and commend her for her job performance.

Thank you!! For real!! EVERYONE KNOWS CP Victoria likes to wear her hair this way. It's not "manly", what does that even mean?? Grow up whomever wrote that. She likes it pulled back, people need to get over it, it's nothing new. Women wear their hair like that all the time, it's not unattractive. Also a pleated skirt isn't too casual, it's quite pretty. Stop it already with CP Victoria. She's awesome. Sverige!

Sorry but this is a fashion blog and we discuss here clothes, hair, accessories, not someone's performance ;) We find her pulled back flat hairstyle boring. Sorry but so we feel.
As to her "manly" hair, then I suggest you look at Daniel's hair and then at Victoria's hair...I'd say very similar (except Daniel has less/shorter hair)
Sad thing is that Victoria has a stylist. Yet she still dresses like someone in her 70s, like otherwise she's not taken seriously...

This does not explain why she employs a stylist and spends so much money on clothes. She often looks try hard, but she is actually always wearing luxuary clothes.

So when other royal ladies pay attention to their clothes and hair this mean they won't put value on what they do?? I disagree. You can look good and still work hard and take care of your family.
Eg. CPss Mary, Queen Letizia most always look very stylish and have beautiful hairstyles but they are also very hard-working women.
Victoria with her tight hairstyle ruins most of her outfits. This hairstyle is more at home in the gym and its not flattering hairstyle with her facial features, imho. Not even going to mention her baggy/fussy floral outfits.

As this is a fashion blog, then we discuss here what royals wear. Sometimes we agree, sometimes disagree. If you like her choices, fine, but others may not like it and want to see something different. Yes, we've come to realize that she won't change. So perhaps its time not to follow her or comment.

We know (or at least we assume) that she likes her hair like that but that doesn´t mean we can´t talk about it. Hairstyles are an important part of one´s styling, and that is the explicit focus of this blog. Her hairstyle IS unflattering, even though it´s usually neat and by now her trademark hairstyle.
Many here like Victoria, and I totally agree she´s awesome. Actually, that´s part of the reason why her ever-severe hair is so disappointing. Her bun is just so ininspired and unflattering. A pity really, because she´s beautiful and her hair has great potential.
I like my hair out of the way too, and there are so many different ways of accomplishing that (that don´t take a lot of work). And even if she really wants a bun, it doesn´t need to be so severely pulled back. She could part her hair and still have it up. She could drape it more softly. She could do a half-updo to have her hair out of the way and still some hair framing her face. She could use more hair accessories. She could do braids as her hair is very long. She could let her hair curl naturally instead of combing it all out. Instead of gel-ing it back she could use some product to un-frizz potentially difficult hair. She could get a completely new haircut. So many options. And yet, it´s the bun we get to see all the time.
Also, I often wonder what her stylist is for (as she´s clearly not making her look good which I thought was her very task).

Victoria is a beautiful woman, who makes good life choices with her personal style. I like that she does not feel the need to please everyone, but focuses on her work, rather than the opinions of others. We should all aspire to that end a little more in our own lives and carve out our own personal styles as well as she has done in her professional life. I often wonder what she is like in her personal life, we just see her professional side and I quite enjoy her choices.

People are biological and cultural and the Olympics are both. If you want to apply for the Olympics you should show of and represent that you understood this holly tradition.
