| On June 15, 2019, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the Danish Castle Centre in Vordingborg to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Dannebrog fall (Danish flag). Danish national historiography connects the introduction of the flag to the Battle of Lindanise of 1219. According to the legend the Danish flag fell down from the sky in the Battle of Lindanise, also known as the Battle of Valdemar, near Lindanise (Tallinn) in Estonia, of 15 June 1219. Presently in Tallinn the Danish King's Garden in Old Town is regarded as the place where the flag fell down, and it is marked with a memorial. حذفAn unusually exuberant hat for Mary, which I like but I don't think it coordinates well with the red dress. I will hope to see it again, with a different outfit. That said, Mary as usual looks lovely and event-appropriate.

ردحذفI've also noticed that Mary and Frederik seem to enjoying a sort of second romance recently. Good for them.
It's my thinking that she chose a fussy hat because the dress is relatively 'plain', beautiful though as the dress is. Yes, the hat is not her usual style (Catherine would love it), but I'm fine with it. The red and beige combo work fine together and Mary looks fantastic in the overall ensemble. Good for her for stepping outside the box and surprising us.
