I think the jacket, nice as it is, clashes with the dress rather than complement it.

  2. I love this oriental pattern and think the dress and jacket complement each other well. However, I do prefer the dress on its own. As with so many of Mathilde's outfits, I think it would look better if just a little longer. I like the First Lady's simple , elegant outfit too.

Zuerst dachte ich: oh je...aber auf den zweiten Blick ist es doch ein interessantes Outfit-passend für den asiatischen Raum.

I rather like the dress. I wonder if she already owned it (it looks very familiar, it's probably Natan) and had a headpiece and jacket created to go with it?

  7. Her hair and outfit makes her look rather matronly. South Korea's first lady looks very elegant in red.

    1. Considering her age, I think she typically looks matronly. When I look at her hair, I can't help but think how much younger she would look if she changed her hair.

She has been able to give each of her outfits an Asian flavor, which I do like. She has done it with both fabric and the sleeves in the jacket this time.

    2. She has had different hairstyles during this trip. She puts them sometimes up or down. I like less her curled hair style. Honestly this length allows many possibilities. I don't think she wants them longer.
MTh of Luxemburg recently changed hers, honestly I don't like it at all.

    3. sorry just some more : I don't think she should look for inspiration from Maxima.
