| On February 28, 2019, Queen Elizabeth II hosted a luncheon in honour of the King, the Queen and the Crown Prince of Jordan at Buckingham Palace in London. King Abdullah, Queen Rania and their son Crown Prince Al Hussein were greeted by the Queen and her daughter Princess Anne. Schöne Fotos.
ردحذفDas ist für mich royaler Stil. Von Kleidung bis Etikette.
Wenn Sie die Königin meinen, dann ja.
حذفWenn Sie die Königin Elisabeth II meinen, dann ja.
حذفRania takes a bit of a risk pairing lavender shoes with this beautiful, deep pink dress -- but somehow, I'm kind of ok with it :-D
ردحذفThe queen looks like her best sparkliest self. Rania reminds us that whole edgy clothing is her signature, she looks fabulous is classic, flattering clothes. Her bag is amazing and the colour is great on her. Anne looks very sharp too.
ردحذفCurtsy looks ridiculous in modern times .
ردحذفI agree about the curtsy looking ridiculous. I don't know how they can take it so seriously.
حذفAgree. Something strange.
حذفI think this is a custom of the remnant when a woman wore a long dress.

حذفIt looks awkward when wearing a short skirt. And it seems odd to combine it with a handshake.
حذفIt seems odd (and off) to me that Anne, a royal princess by birth, has to curtsy to a queen who was a commoner, and who is so much younger than her.
حذفAgree, very ridiculous. I especially find it interesting that Rania is a commoner and Anne a royal. Yes, I know it is who Rania married. But I do find the whole "royal" "common" thing interesting.
حذفThe curtsy looks respectful, as it always does when executed so flawlessly. Regardless of birth, Rania has been raised to a position above a princess. Anne would be the last person in the world to ignore this fact.
حذفQueen Rania's dress is superb, and good that she's not wearing stiletto heals or she'd tower over QE. I never realized that Princess Anne was so tall. So Anne curtsies to the younger Queen and King, Prince Al Hussein and the king would bow to QE, I presume. Would Rania curtsy to QE as her elder? Anyone? Thank you to a fun group.
ردحذفPrince Al Hussein, would bow to QE2. However, his parents would not - Monarchs don't bow/curtsy to other Monarchs.
حذفMonarchs do not bow or curtsey to other monarchs.
حذفQueens don't curtsy to each other, they are both equal in rank.
حذفRania is wearing stilettos, just not very high ones.
حذفAnne curtseyed to the Jordanian king and queen because they are monarchs and she is not. Nothing to do with age. The crown prince would bow to QE, but his parents would not because they are of equal rank.
May prosperity and long-term close friendship of British royal family and Jordanian royal family continue to reign.
ردحذفI share your wish, Yumiko. May the friendship and goodwill between these two royal houses always remain strong!
حذفThe lavender shoes look cheap and ruin the lovely dress.
ردحذفI love her dress but don't like the shoes too. I don't think they look cheap but simply not combined with the colour of the dress.
حذفEverything about Rania's dress is perfect -- from the style, the fit, the color and the length. But then she rarely misses. Anne's bow to the King and Queen of Jordan just doesn't seem right -- not the sort of thing done today nor would this couple expect this.
ردحذفYou would wonder about how they still maintain this kind of etiquette, in particular amongst all the Royals themselves. They all curtsy to each other when meeting, even in private, depending on rank, of course. No monarch bows or curtsies to a fellow monarch, but those lower in rank all do. The guests from Jordan might not particularly have requested such an honour, but it is a matter of proper protocol as well. Princess Anne knows what is expected from her, and so does the young Prince; I'd assume.
حذفLove Rania' s dress, and the shoes just elevate this very clean line outfit to another level.
ردحذفKijkt dan niemand naar de handen van H.M.?
ردحذفYou were very observant, indeed not looking good.
حذفO indeed! I didn't see it until you mentioned it. Looks unhealthy and painful.
حذفDoes anyone know what it is or what she has?
Ja, idd. Zij draagt altijd handschoenen en nu heeft ze hele blauwe handen.
حذفHft u goed opgemerkt.
In Daily Mail they said that at Queen's age 92 a little knock sometimes can turn into severe bruises.
حذفO yes, of course, she always wears gloves! And now that she doesn't... it looks really bad. Hopefully she does not have a lot of pain.
حذفThe Princess Royal looks very striking in her green suit. Rania's shoes do not match her outfit. The kings tie is a little bright. Queen Elizabeth looks lovely in her dress.
ردحذفAgree! Well said.
حذفRania is gelukkig heel normaal gekleed, soms heeft ze rare smaak. ANN? kan je niets prositiefs over zeggen, over haar outfit bedoel ik en haar kapsel.
ردحذفBeautiful reverence of Princess Anne !
ردحذفAll the Royal Ladies look great. Pss Anne;s green suit looks stunning on her, have not seen her like this in a very long time.
ردحذفFor the first time, I will say that Anne looks the best. Good color for her --Lovely and perfectly fitted suit and jewelry details. Rania's dress is beautiful but would have benefited from darker shoes that could have coordinated with the purse.
ردحذفAgree with you, Pine. Great colour and fit. I like Rania's dress but Anne wins it for me today---not often we can say that!
حذفI agree with both of you. Very seldom you can see Princess Anne dressed nicely but today she looks great. It is also the time I think to change the hairdo.
حذفWhat about the queen, her hands are blue???
ردحذفWhat about the Queen Elisabeth, her hands are blue???
ردحذفIt's a public statement.
ردحذف(Rania looks wonderful. Anne, the Princess Royal: which foot belongs to which leg?? What a curtsy...)
The shoe takes the look in one direction and the purse takes it in another. I buy the dress with one or the other, but not both.
