    4. Agree, it's different. Her cheeks? But beautiful though.

Her make up is absolutely amazing. Navy blue is a very nice color on her and for the event. Love the pearls and diamond broch .

Yay. Letizia is wearing a brooch! Nice outfit and totally appropriate.

  4. I, surprisingly, don't like this. I think the jacket is a bit too boxy for me. She wore a dark blue last year or two years ago that I still love. Perhaps it's the same dress under the jacket. I do love the broach, though. And her date 😍 (Really, I'll forgive Leti for any of her outfits as long as she brings Felipe along! #iamshallow)

@ Angie, your Queen looks perfect!

    3. Sí, yo también la veo perfecta, gracias. :)

    4. I don't really like this outfit, which is not her style IMO, but if it was the dressing code, ok

@Angie, es el vestido que llevaba en 2012 y 2014.

I like everything from the jacket up, including the low messy bun which gives her a softer, more casual romantic look.

WOW.

  7. Not sure why Queen Letizia has gone for the (slightly) straggly hair look--it spoils her overall elegance in my opinion. The jacket and dress are fine, but no more than that--I know it's a long dress event but don't feel that these too are a perfect match. Sorry, don't like the brooch--I think it's very old looking--would look okay on Queen Sofia or Queen Elizabeth.

I like the jacket and skirt, but I agree with you regarding her hair. It does spoil her overall appearance.

    2. Why is everybody imitating Meghan's messy bun and loose hair around the face?

Her jacket looks like business costume jacket and not so good with long skirt. But otherwise she looks gorgeous. Love her hair and makeup.

    1. My thoughts exactly. The jacket looks, to me, like it should be paired with a short skirt or slacks. Letizia, however, looks stunning! Hair, make-up, jewelry--all amazing.

It is the dress code of the event, long skirt with jacket

That's right, it is the protocol

  10. Letizia looks great - elegant and in keeping with protocol demands of the event. Hair, make up and jewellery on point for me.

Ansonsten ein schönes Outfit ohne viel „Show“.

@ 12:34 AM , Nobody copy anyone . It is fashion to have hair done that way.

Fabulous hair, amazing make up, great jewellery and nice skirt. She looks lovely

  13. Leti had this kind of style of hairdo before Meghan and she did this so many times already. To be honest with you, Leti's shape of face is more suitable for this kindest of style than Meghan. Just my honest opinion.

  15. I love Letizia's hair style in this ceremony, because of her long dress. If the dress matches her usual hair style, pales in comparison with this kind of hairdo for sure. Letizia is an expert in dress collocation.

  17. It is very difficult to wear long formal dresses for morning events without looking like you are going to a party, the skirt needs to be column style, or with very minimal volume and the fabrics must be somewhat delicate ( welvet) but the embellishments must be kept discreet, and although Varela's designs aren't always my favorite, in this case I think he reaches a good balance. The outfit it's rather severe because the occasion doesn't call for fashion statements, but the queen manages to make it more actual with a destructured hairdo, and yes she has worn this hairstyle before Meghan, there are hundreds of pictures to the fact. The end result is appropriate and elegant.
