First I like to say Happy 98th Birthday to HRH GD Jean of Luxembourg. Nice to see some of the members of the Family there, sadly not all of them, maybe they are still on the way hope so. Both GD's and the GDss look fantastic. Also nice to see the Css Diane of Nassau there. So far only four children there, hope all the the kids will be there and we get to see a pic.

It was a saturday, so no excuse for them not to attend. They could have flown back today. He is the heir, he should have attended. Also strange that both daughters of the old GD and his son Guillaume were missing. But nice that at least Henri and MT tried and had a party at Berg for GD Jean.

  5. Maria Teresa looks fabulous here -- I love the rich, warm tones of her dress that bring out the same in her hair and eyes.

  6. Maybe they decided to take the picture before someone had to leave. There are toddlers, maybe they had to take the picture around nap time, who knows. Too many variables. 98, wow. He could have sat on the sidelines, but he actively fought and served during WWII. Happy Birthday, indeed. Like the style of the jacket on Louis and Alexandra's outfit.

I see three of Henri and MT's children there (Guillaume and Felix and their spouses are missing). Who are the rest of the people present in the photo?

only 2 of Henri's children are in the picture. The others are grandchildren and great grandchildren of GD Jean. Both his daughters and his son Guillaume are missing as well. According to the FB of the cour they are: Before them, the counts Constantine and Leopold, children of count Rodolphe and of the Countess Marie-Christine of Limburg-stirum
In The 3TH ROW: HRH Prince Louis, S.A.I.R Countess Marie-Christine of Limburg-Stirum and count Rodolphe of Limburg-Stirum with their son count Gabriel, Countess Diane of Nassau and HRH PRINCE JEAN, HRH Princess Sibilla, s.a.i.r. the archduchess Gabriella of Austria with her daughter Victoria, s.a.i.r. the Archduke Alexander of Austria, HRH Princess Charlotte of Nassau, and hrh princess Alexandra.

It would have been very nice to have seen all of the great grand children of GD Jean with the youngest ADss Juliana almost 3 month old.
