We have usually seen this jacket with the coordinating skirt. Good for Letizia to wear it in a different way this time.

  2. Hugo Boss design with the skirt and top, underneath this great coat, is perfection. I don't see the charm of the wide cropped pants to compete with that idea here. What do you think?

  5. Please, forgive me, but I hope not that everyone will start wearing heavy coats that make them looking big and bulky.

It was really cold and foggy yesterday morning

    2. Yes, I understand. But in my opinion these coats are not really fitting or elegant. There are lots of beautiful and elegant coats which are warm too. But that's how I see it ;-)

    3. This is a so called eggshape coat, moderate, I would say. If you do not like them, wait for the first puffer jackets on this blog, puh:-)

I think I prefer this the way the model is wearing it (minus the sports shoes) with the matching dress. I think with the matching dress and heels this would be a much more attractive outfit and look more business-like.

  7. The fitting is not that good, is it? Hogo Boss can do better, no?

Letizia should be more critical of what she chooses from favor designer Hugo Boss.

That coat has at least 4 years

  11. Like the coat but it looks far better with the matching skirt or indeed a plain dress than with the trousers.

Today's make-up is flawless. She has worn the model's version several times. The new look is stylish.

Has Letizia touched up her hair? I thought we saw some gray hairs not too long ago. I admire Queens Paola, Margrethe, and Elizabeth for staying natural; I was hoping Letizia would do the same, I think she would be beautiful with some gray hair. (By the way, I do not color my gray hair.)

I do not think so, it is very odd in Spain, and she has been very criticized because of the grey hairs.

    2. Let me thoroughly disagree with you, Anon7:15!! I cannot see any reason to reject hairdying, let'us say under 70, and even beyond. Please note Paola had hairdying as long as she was a queen. Honestly I doubt Letizia would go for gray hair at her age.

@3:09pm: Letizia has been criticized because she has gray hair? Wow. Yet look how distinguished Felipe is with his gray hair/beard. Somehow we females are supposed to color over gray hair. I would love to see Letizia say she doesn't care about the nay-sayers!

@5:58 - I'm not against hair-coloring; but some people take it to the extreme, e.g. a certain Nordic queen. I still say gray(ish) hair can be beautiful on the right person. Letizia could even set a new trend.

    4. Grey hair, which is white in fact, must be very cared because it tends to yellow. And needs a perfect hairstyle.
