Nice blouse and skirt combo for CP Mary today. The event is much more important then the fashions.

    1. Exactly! I love that she didn’t feel the need to stand out in the crowd. Love Mary!

  2. Very chic and stylish outfit. Mary is always well dressed! However, those heels do not look like they are made for walking on a jetty. Hope she did not get stuck :)

    1. I thought that too. Those heels are nice-looking but an odd choice. Not only for the boardwalk, but they also look a bit too light for the heavier coat, and they look a bit too festive for this event. That´s more of an evening shoe, not really for daywear, imo.

    2. My thoughts exactly...

    3. I thought the same thing and must remember this when so many criticize other royals for wearing heels in situations much better than this. That being said, I love the heels...just in another situation.

    4. Girls, you make me laugh. The 'jetty' is the promenade around the Royal Playhouse. It is perfectly suitable for highheels. Which are not too festive, because it is a modified Mary Jane. The coat is a featherlight MaxMara and goes perfectly well with this kind of shoes.

    5. Laugh if you want -- whether jetty or promenade, those skinny heels could easily have gotten caught in the cracks underfoot.

CP Mary is looking tired. I like this outfit so much - very stunning.

  4. Great outfits; businesslike but with subtle feminine touches that bring charm and softness. I like her hair pulled back; I think it would be nice if she wore it more often styled into a simple, pretty chignon.

She looks very pretty, especially love her hair styled like this. Great outfit for autumn.
