Harry and Meghan attend Women's Empowerment reception

On April 19, 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the Women's Empowerment reception hosted by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London. This event marks the launch of a 'Platform for Girls Education', a campaign designed to encourage all Commonwealth countries to commit to providing 12 years of quality education for all girls. 1. So elegant, Meghan! Simple lines with modern twist. Good posture.
Also have noticed that she is subtle and sparing with jewelry. Curious as to whether she will wear a tiara at all on her wedding day and, if so, which one.

  2. I like the dress, fit her well. But again black, i want to see her with some color. And what about with the messy bun? I think it become her style. She is very engage with people.

    1. Yes, I'd love to see the messy bun trend go away. It's supposed to be chic -- but no matter how chic the lady, a messy bun just looks sloppy.

  3. This dress is absolutely perfect for Meghan. She looks lovely. The cut of the dress is perfect for her petite frame.

  5. Wow keep up the good work, you look just fine

  6. Now that's a lovely sleeveless dress and nice shoes. That's how you dress formal. Different color would have been great but at this point we will just have to accept she wants to be Duchess of Monochrome, which is ok.😀

  7. Black again. Why don't know why royals have been wearing so much black lately. Anyone, I like the design. It really fits her, its appropriate and much better than the last time.

  8. Wow what a comeback! Meghan looks elegant and chic. Judging by the way the other guests are attired, she chose a perfect degree of formality (sleeveless, short cocktail). It's a beautiful dress, fits her perfectly, and the black doesn't bother me - she looks fresh and pretty. In my opinion she is channeling Audrey Hepburn today, whilst keeping her own, modern take on things!

  10. I love her style - and I love black, so it's win-win for me! She has her own sense of style and monochromatic can be very elegant.

Well Miss Markle looks fantastic in the BLD,her hair could have been a little better she again has a messy bun. I believe this dress also comes in royal blue and red, would have been fun seeing her in one of the other colors

  12. I am very impressed with commitments of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Boris Johnson to Girls Education which encourage the Commonwealth countries to provide all girls with 12 years quality education. The gender equality is one of 17 UN SDGs and a global issue, I think.

She looks great, and I agree, I had actually secretly hoped that she will get a hairdresser this time to style her hair in a professional way. But it looks like she is bringing the below the knee dresses back into fashion, amen, because I'm sure we are all sick and tired of Kate's dresses blowing in the wind. So welcome BACK to below knee dresses!

    1. Wrong!😙 unlike Meghan, Duchess Kate's style is very flexible, she is open to different colors and style. Kate has worn below knee dress on many occasions. Most recent when she had a fashion reception at Buckingham palace and twice on her trip to Sweden.

Well no! I am not that fed up of Kate's dresses, useless to tell me how many times she has been wearing her favorite dresses. They fit her so perfectly.

Yes occasionally having her hair styled by a hairdresser, I am sure there are hairdressers who would adapt to her wishes....

  15. Beautiful dress. With signature shoes and signature shoulders? I like her feminine hairdo very much. This modern softness in combination with all these clean and clear lines suits her quiet well.

Yes, Winnie, in the past, and also when she was pregnant, she had almost always wear mini dresses, you can almost say the first half of her marriage

    1. Kate can wear mini dresses, she has so beautiful legs. I like much more Kate s wardrobe, colourful and tasty

  17. She looks good and I don't mind black, I wear a lot myself. However, I do also like colour so I hope she will wear something a bit more colourful in the future.

I like her hair - I don't actually think it's that "messy" for a messy bun.

  18. Tired of the black. Tired of the messy bun. Would have looked better with a sleek bun. Blush is heavy and not blended well. Sorry but I am quickly losing interest in her boring style.
