Yes much respect for her. Her jewelry seems quite heavy to wear for her, maybe she would be better of with a "lighter" necklace. Up to her of course.

  3. I wonder why Beatrice and Eugenie never wear tiaras..

    1. Because they are not married.

    2. Eugenie will wear one at these events after she marries in October 2018.

    3. interesting :-) never knew that only married women wear tiaras :-)

    4. This is only true among the British royal family--and may not be true of all British royal occasions--but this is a very formal event.
The Swedish, Spanish and Norwegian princesses wore tiaras years before their weddings. Also, I think there are photos of Princess Anne wearing the Halo tiara before she married Mark Phillips, but not sure.

  6. The Queen continues to amaze me, sparkling and sharp at 92. As Meghan said in her engagement interview:'"She is an incredible woman." Sophie looks lovely. Her aquamarine tiara suits her perfectly. Beatrice heavy dark eye makeup is unfortunate; she looks ill and cartoonish.

  9. They all look fantastic but the Queen is the star of the night.

  10. I am uncertain about Princess Anne’s dress. The ‘puffy’ sleeves are dated and i wish she would change her hairstyle. Beatrice’s eyes are too heavily made up. I saw her in London (at a distance) and all you notice was two black rings. She should be more confident in herself. Apart from this, they all look good.

    1. That is interesting that Beatrice's eye makeup has the same effect in person and it's not just the lighting of the room and camera angle.

    2. Unfortunately that is the case Pine. She has large eyes and women with large eyes really do not need heavy eye makeup.

    3. I suspect that Princess Anne has "can't do anything with it" hair, and perhaps decided long ago to stick with one style and forget about it. It looks heavily teased, though, and I can't imagine how much time must be devoted to brushing it out each night!

  12. Beautiful gown and necklace on Princess Anne! -- kind of an Edwardian look. It's hard to see her tiara, but I think it's the Festoon, my favorite tiara of all time. Lovely...
