  1. Charlene looks amazing, Stephanie smart but ordinary, Caroline looks like an Edwardian governess (Nanny McPhee), I like Tatiana's bright red and veiled hat, I also like Charlotte's coat and cloche hat. Beatrice looks OK as well from what I can see. Little Gabriella's dress is very pretty.

Charlene is the winner for me - stunning colour, fabulous hat and perfect make up.

  3. My but Caroline looks dowdy!! It's unusual to see Charlotte smile, she looks so much better when she isn't looking bored. Her hair is lovely - what we can see of it anyway. Albert and Pierre's moustaches are not at all becoming, and Andrea's facial hair even less.

  4. I think that Charlenne's outfit is the winner of all of them. Althouhg the second picture...doesn' t show her best face.

  5. Mustaches everywhere, and they don´t look good on anyone I´m afraid. I hope it´s just a MOvember thing.
The ladies are looking good - surprisingly tame and elegant outfits.

    1. I think the mustaches are in honor of something or somebody

    2. They are in honour of the bicentenary of the Monaco Carabinieri - all of them grew one (I mean all the carabinieri) and their colonel in chief is retiring.

  9. Nice to see that the coat on Charlene has been tailored to fit her magnificent shoulders. One would think a National Day would be a happy occasion, but it doesn't look very joyful in most of these photos.

  13. Hihi, the Grimaldi Operetta always makes me laugh. Some of the women are / were real beauties, but their dresses - OMG. I do like Charlotte, but she looks like a young not so well to do mother right out of the Golden Twenties. In Monaco it is all a show anyway!

  14. Charlene's outfit is beautiful. In the photos I've seen over the years, Caroline looks great without stealing the show from Charlene - complementary.
