  1. Princess Sofia is expecting a second child! Hopefully she gets to be well both mentally and physically. Duchess Catherine looks lovely here. Perfect length on the skirt .

    1. I don't understand what you mean about Princess Sofia. I think she's very fit mentally and physically. And very happy with her handsome husband and gorgeous son.

    2. Oh I didn't try to imply anything, but you can't take it for granted that all will go well with a pregnancy. I'm sure she'll be fine though, but even the most fit people can get post partum depressions or such. It was more meant as well wishes. Sorry for the confusion. More a comment since this was an event about maternal mental health.

  2. It's nice but I actually prefer it on the model who isn't so thin.

  3. Nice but not that striking

  4. Plank comes to mind.

  5. An updo or a styled ponytail and splash of lipstick would have given this more of a polished look.

    1. Totally agree! Kate needs to "polish" her look with better grooming.

    2. A nice outfit. It looks "nice" with both black and neutral shoes however, Kate needs to add some impact with styling her hair and even using some lipstick or gloss, something to give her a bit more of a groomed, polished look.

  6. The dress top should be a few inches longer if it is to fit as on the model, to curve out AT her waist, not high above it. Otherwise it looks suitable for the occasion. But, oh my, she looks extremely exhausted, don't you think? Maybe she, too, is expecting?

  7. Nice style, but she looks always like under pressure. Relax Catherine, it's better for body and soul... :)

  8. I agree, K Hass. She does look exhausted. Her suit is OK, but she is very thin and it does not quite fit. Perhaps William's nightclub antics in Verbier took a toll and then the next day trip to France (where she was impeccable) took a toll. I cannot shake the feeling that neither Catherine nor William are very happy people. I hope that I am wrong.

    1. Pine, that event took place on march 23. On march 22. there had been a terror attack in london. Yes, Catherine looks exhausted.

    2. Coralie, your comment is patronizing and unnecessary. We all know very well about the terrorist attack in London. It has been massively covered in nearly every major news outlet and Catherine herself addressed it in her speech. I have family in London.
Since it seems that I, and others who share my opinion about Catherine's general air of exhaustion and stress, need to be more clear with you, I will state that this is only one of many occasions, over a number of years, when I noticed this during her appearances. To attribute this long term affect to a single horrible incident is not accurate.

  9. There is something about the fit of this dress that makes it look strange, like it has been put in the dryer and it shrinked, is either the wrong size or is that terrible posture. I can't say that I hate the outfit, but it just not my favorite. She does look tired.

    1. I actually think it is the right size. As you mentioned a bad posture makes even a good dress look bad. And it is this funny latch with two buttons that you would rather expect on the back. It sits on the wrong place. And I think this huge amount of hair also kills a good look.

  10. Not my favorite dress.

  11. Interesting style. As always stylish, chic, elegant and dress for the occasion. Beautiful, healthy hair, the length of the Duchess hair and the colour of the lipsticks suites her personality. She has the length of hair since University. She is always wearing lipstick - neutral colour. Bright colour lipstick don't suite her and heaven forbid with a bright colour lipstick the comments will be she looks like a slut! . Bright red fits for example Princess Charlene not for Duchess Catherine neither that horrible gloss. Amazingly that the critics of the Duchess don't adopt the same attitude as with the CP of Sweden and Norway. That is CP of Sweden style and therefore stop criticizing the bun.
