  1. This is the best she has ever looked. She had better hire the magazine's fashion consultants who helped dress her for this shoot.

    1. They have an apartment in one of the palaces of Amalienborg, but their primary home is a house in one of the rich suburbs of Copenhagen. Joachim did inherit a castle in southjutland, but he recently sold it and the family moved to Copenhagen. I expect they chose the palace for the pictures because it looks good.

    2. They don't really - They own a house (Mansion) on the outskirts of Copenhagen, which they bought after Joachim sold the castle he inherited as a child. The photos are taken at the apartment in one of the palaces of Amalienborg which they still have the right to use.

I really like the couple and its great treat to see them in more "unofficial" settings. Marie looks very beautiful and happy.

Marie is seen lots of times with her stepsons. Do Nikolai and Felix always have to be included in every photo shoot? Goodness, of course not.

No, however in a interview all about family why would you not?

Using Maries own words on the subject(taken from a recent interview): -It's so important to give space and show them that this is still their home. Although the prince and I now have two children, it is important for me that I am the same to all four. There is no difference. There should never be one that feels that there are two sets of kids. They should feel at home and be comfortable with us, says Princess Marie, revealing that Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix come as often as they like - but they must remember to give notice if they want to have dinner with us. Here is Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, like many other Danish parents.

Strange that Nikolai and Felix have to give prior notice if they are gong to eat with the others, most mothers work magic and can make a meal cover an extra person or two, guess these are only her steps.

They only have a small private residence at the castle. The lower floor is a historical museum for past kings.
Three of the children were in school (Nikolai now at boarding school). The image of Athena and Henrik in the snow is taken to Athena's birthday 24th of January.
Nikolai and Felix have lived with their mother since the divorce.

Ce n'est pas mon couple royal préféré mais je dois avouer que ces images sont très belles et que même le prince Joachim nous apparaît plus sympathique.
