New pictures of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge

Kensington Palace on Sunday released two adorable new pictures of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. The six-month old royal was captured on camera by her mother Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at Anmer Hall, the family home in Norfolk, eastern England, early this month, the palace said. Wearing a floral dress and pink cardigan, the princess is seen perched on a checkered chair and laughing with delight at a fluffy toy. 29 November 2015.

  1. A beauty just like her mother. Diana would be a very proud and supportive grandmother.

  2. She looks like Carole Middleton (same eyes and dark hair), instead George looks like Michael Middleton (round face and brown eyes).
Charlotte has a gorgeous dress and a pretty cardigan. She is adorable!

I agree! And an expensive frumpy wear like mum.

A soft silk dress fit for a royal like Princess Leonore and Estelle of Sweden, at that age also professional photos after hiding for a member of BRF. Millions wasted on multi kitchens, tennis courts and renovations, the people deserve better.

This would allow mum more sincere time and months of the year working with charities/duties than the pretend regular photo thrown to the public. Respectful like the SRF DRF children (other royals) sincere inclusion of the people.

    2. Someone once said, “There are only two types of people in the world: Those with children -- and Those without.”
There is a gulf of experience and knowledge that exists between these 2 groups; and unfortunately, your comments are an extreme example of the misunderstanding that persons in the second group are prone to. I assume that you don’t have children, since for anyone who has had children, what Kate and William are doing in regards to public appearances is self-evident and needs no justification. I have no doubt that the late Princess Diana, who believed so strongly in the importance of parenting, would, were she alive today, support Kate and William 100%.
As a non-parent, you need to know that “wealth” and “nannies” are not some magic cure-all for new parents. Kate faces the same challenges as all mothers, regardless of their wealth or poverty. Yet no two women handle the challenges of parenting the same way; which is why it is unreasonable to compare Duchess Kate with other royal mothers.
Of course, you could go on as before making comments which ignore the lives of members of “the biggest club in the world” (mothers), and which are out of touch with reality – or, you could start finding out for yourself what the parents of the world have to say about living with babies. Ignorance ...or information? it's up to you..

      Absolutely not true.
I think that "wealth and "nannies" are great help in bringing up children. How can you say that wealthy parents have the same challenges as parents who are living in poverty?

@A24-4515:08 ...thank you for your sophisticated and sustantiated contribution to the complex matter.

Only a very small "amount" of mothers is not able to be loving mother. Fathers are different.
I´m shure that Catherine and William of Cambridge are loving parents and are doing their best.
Richness carries some risks like poorness and like middle class- there is no royal road.

    5. Anonymous16:47: thanks for reading my comment. I was trying to keep it concise, so certain parts weren’t fully elaborated. To your point:
Of course "wealth" and "nannies" make a huge difference; otherwise, no parents would seek to acquire them. And I am by no means trying to diminish or dismiss the struggle of any disadvantaged mother trying to house, feed, clothe and educate her family -- having been one myself.
What I am saying is that no amount of "wealth" and “nannies" will shield a new mother from her core task, the very primal and emotionally confronting one of forming a close healthy relationship with her baby. Every mother, rich or poor, has to “put in the hard yards”-- which requires the mother spending hours and hours of one-to-one time with her child. And of course, babies, being babies, are demanding--regardless of whether their parents are rich or poor, relaxed or stressed. This challenge - for a mother to rapidly understand her new baby and build a communication that works, is common to all humanity, and is what I meant when I said that all mothers face the same challenges.
Re nannies: a nanny can even have negative effects, if the arrangement is not entered into with awareness. Having a nanny can delay the mother/child bonding process; the nanny‘s superior skill can undermine the new mother’s self-confidence; or the baby may even prefer the nanny to his/her own mother. I am not saying that nannies are a bad idea, far from it: I know women who are nannies, and also women who employ nannies; and it is my belief that nannies, like everyone involved in childcare, are shamefully undervalued by society.
However, at the end of their shifts, nannies go off duty. Every mother needs to feel confident in her ability to manage her children herself, without anyone else’s help, for the sake of her own self-esteem. Having wealth will protect the Duchess from financial worry; and having a nanny will help her feel supported and give her some “time out”; however, money and helpers can only go so far. They cannot buy Kate the all-important feeling that she is doing well in her role as a mother. Money will never solve all problems, especially not those that involve love, birth and relationships.

  12. She has Great Grandma Elizabeth's knowing look in her eyes. The expression of her mouth is also like the Queen.

    1. I don't care a rat's ass who she looks like, except herself. She is a really beautiful baby. I should know, I had the most gorgeous granddaughter one could possibly imagine, but she did change over the years, and now that she's 25, she looks ordinary at best, except for her very expressive eyes. The most beautiful can turn into the homeliest and vice-versa.

    2. Oh, it is sad you said that. Royals do not belong to some other species, we are all humans. Therefore they can be ugly and pretty just as anyone else. We do not live in a fairytale. Do you understand the sadness of your statement?

      I agree with Lassie. ..
Anonymous said that every princess is beautiful beacause she is royal. .. Kate Middleton is a commoner, so Charlotte is half-royal... that means she is half-beautiful?
You could say that Eugenie and Beatrice of York are exemples of beauty beacause of their titles?
      Please, think before writing

  15. She has Queen Elisabeths beautiful eyes and the same way to look. She is not relaxed in this picture to me her smile is not mild or gently. She looks stressed to me -
Nonetheless i am looking forward for more pictures and I am shure my favourite picture will happen in future.
The tiny cuty will pose uncontrived and the gentle smile with charm.

  16. Well...a baby....streets are full with them...but I think for most of the people she is "adorable", "special" etc etc, because she's semi-royal...she could also wear her nose on her back and still she would be praised as THE baby.....;-)
