So does the Countess of Wessex who turns 50 soon, and she looks younger than CP Mary. Some people age better than others, regardless of the amount of work they do. Sometimes it's genes, sometimes it's lifestyle, diet, make-up, etc.

Rubbish, she looks good and is the most stylish royal, Catherine, Marie, Victoria, Mette-Marit and others are far behind her...

Sophie of Wessex is an exception.
A princess must be a perfect doll of beauty?
Charity and dignity says you something?
Mary is a princess and works hard

The only reason for your very stupid and totally unfair comment must be sheer, green jealousy.
You know very well, C.P. Mary is one of the most beautiful and stylish women in the world.
Are you british by any chance? Don't like to see Kate being outshone by her in every way.

Mary ages like everyone else and do it with dignity, not with botox and cosmetic surgery. Princess Mary is beautiful and already looks like a queen.

I can't believe how critical some coms are . This is a beautiful stylish mother of 4 (as are Queen Mathilde and Marie Chantal of Greece ) Not as young as they were to be sure , but that is life . C P Mary seems very natural to me for someone so photographed , so busy , and so required to put on gala dress to support the Danish Monarchy 's tradition of a glittering Court .

Mary is beautiful indeed and she has a classic yet fun and colorful style of dress. But I do think that she appears to spend way too much money on clothes, esp compared to other European royals, including other Danish royals. Even at somewhat more simple and local events, it's designer this or designer that -- it should not be necessary and it's extravagant.

    1. Oh please. And you don't think Charlene, Marie, Kate, Madeline, Maxima, Letzia, Caroline et al don't wear designer this designer all the time? You must be very naive.

I think Mary is a nice looking woman, with great Sense of style (probably the Best among the royal ladies of her generation), and she seems to do a Good job as Denmark's Cp. But I also think she's way overrated. She's pretty ordinary looking, attractive, yes, But far from being the most beautiful of the current CPs as many of her fans like to say. Her sis-in-law Marie is way pretty and she sometimes gets very mean comments about her appearance from Mary admirers, which drives me mad. And she's not the hardest working and most commited CP as anyone can see if he bothers to review her schedule and those of other princesses and the way they work. I Still think Mary is a nice woman but her charm comes along with her normal appearance, people try too hard to make her the quintaessential of royals and it's not working, and thus Ido the snarky comments she usuales gets here and everywhere.

    2. Retype comment: how many royal schedules have you reviewed to come to your judgement that she's not the most committed or hardest working when compared to other princesses? So you're asserting that your preferred Princess Marie is more committed and more hardworking? Do try to be less snarky dear. There's no need to put one royal down to bolster your support for another. It comes across bitchy and ugly.

I really don't understand the nasty comments... If I'd have the chance to adopt the make-up, hairstyle, clothing from a princess, I'd totally adopt Mary's! In my opinion, she's the only one who explores a little bit, for better or worse... And she always seems very genuine, and genuinely enthousiastic and interested. That's why she has a lot of fine wrinkles around her eyes; at least one princess is having a blast being princess!!

CP mary is an ordinary girl spending her husbands familys money on her self a lot.Beautiful...no, cut...yes,but nothing more. Some people love royalties and for what?
Nice clothess, partys, luxary life, but what are they doing and representing whom?
This system is history and it is not healthy for a sociatys bringing money so people can live a luxary life whitout doing anything at all.

    1. If you don't like royals it's your right,I respect absolutely.
But try to watch real role models like Prince Harry,Queen Rania,Queen Elizabeth II ,Sophie of Wessex,Mary of Denmark or Queen Maxima of the Netherlands--they really work for promote their patronages.
And please don't watch only Kate Middleton she is not a REAL royal yet because her charity work is a big zero.
A royal family is the symbol of unity and dignity.
Personally I can't see princesses as fashion icons and Barbie dolls.

    2. I'm with Marie on this one.
For some royals it goes beyond dressing up and looking pretty. Some are very hardworking and passionate about their work and about representing their country on the world stage.

I live in the USA so no royals for me (just internet interest). If I lived in England I would probably be a republic supporter :P but since my country has no monarchy, I choose to respect each country's choice to keep them (and $upport )or not.

Apparently, you don't get it: The monarch is Head of State. Like a president, if you wish. He/she represents their country - and the family stands in.
Yes - royalty is a very old system which has changed dramatically during the last century - if it had'nt it wouldn't work in a modern democratic society.
Right - we can't vote for the King/Queen. On the other hand they do not have any political power.
Would a president be better and more democratic?
I don't think so - he/she would have to tell a bunch of lies and issue empty promises every 4th year to get elected .......
And who does he represent? The people who voted for him - hardly the rest.
That's why Monarchy often is a far better solution - the King represents the whole country.
Monarchy is far more then pretty dresses, tiaras and jewels (but we love to look at them.....)

    4. Or buy their way to their Presidency is more accurate. How many Dick Tom and Harry can run for the Presidency without ingratiating themselves to their financial donors, who in return demand special treatment as payback? Oh yes most Presidents.

  23. Princess Mary is my favorite royal and IMO she looks great 99% of the time. I think she hardly has a fashion fail. I wouldn't wear all of her outfits, but I am also much younger - she dresses age appropriate and has a rocking body.

    My favorite from your recap:
    1) That BEAUTIFUL navy gown ( Kryolan at the Bambi Awards 2014 on November 13, 2014 in Berlin, Germany)
    2) The lovely lace in off-white (worn at the gala night on the occasion of the consultant meeting at the royal Theatre, Copenhagen June 25, 2014) --- love he hair style too.
    3) Cute coat dress in royal blue ( Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's concert in the Tivoli Concert Hall August 26, 2014.)
    4) The very casual school outfit navy jeans (?) + tartan ( morning walk at Lille Næstved School in Naestved October 6, 2014. )

    Disliked:
    - The white + navy dress. It kind of makes me think of a very childish school uniform, kind of a miss.

crown princess mary look like her age unlike kate middleton look older than her actual age.crown princess mary do a lot of work and reprsents danish monarchy well.just because kate is popular because of her fashion (which i dont understand why people seem fixated on it when there's a lot of other woman who dresses better than her) means she's much better than any other woman who joins royal family.

there is also other european royal who's doing well representing their respective monarchy but doesn't have more coverage. There much better to someone who ha s a lot of coverage but just because of her dress and fashion.
