On October 15, 2026, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Community Recording Studio (CRS) in Nottingham, a youth and community charity that offers a wide range of creative activities, sports, mentoring and youth development programmes. The couple attended an event together for the first time since returning to the UK.
Community Recording Studio has been at the heart of Nottingham’s St Ann’s neighbourhood since 1991. What began as a three-year music and media project has evolved into an initiative that continues to offer free creative programmes combining music, performance, sports, mentoring and personal development support for young people aged 7 to 25.
For the occasion, the Duchess of Sussex wore a burgundy “Dona” wool-and-cashmere-blend coat by Joseph, a deep-plum “Oliena” skirt in Clever Crepe by The Fold London, and burgundy leather pumps by Jennifer Chamandi.
Ahhhhh … this one will be controversial. Dressed up as if an official royal visit … but certainly not an official royal visit per the recent circular King Charles released. I refuse to comment on her clothes in tiny protest of the confusion she and Harry bring by attempting royal fame and royal tours when they asked to step back and were therefore asked to stop using their titles especially for making money.

حذفThey are entitled to support various charities if they wish just like any non titled person can. The royal family certainly do not have a monopoly on doing charity work
حذفI don’t understand royal visit. They were invited to attend, to see the work being done and perhaps so they might make a financial donation. The king did not ask them to represent the crown, nor him. As far as dressing up, is that not just common curtesy to dress properly. Meghan has always dressed in high end clothing.

They have been affiliated with this organization for some time. If people like them and choose to take the time and trouble show up to see them and greet them warmly, why not? It’s evidence that they are well thought of by many—a fact that the royal family should respect. It’s clear Harry and Meghan could be of help to the family. The “feud” serves no one and should end. It’s a terrible example of grudge-holding and immaturity by the King and William.

Stilettos on a parquet sports floor - no go. The rest of her outfit is okay. The visit as such - odd, to say the least. But that's on others to eventually sort out.
