King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain are undertaking a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Finland. On the second day of their State Visit, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Cross of the Heroes and the tomb of Marshal Mannerheim at Hietaniemi Cemetery in Helsinki.
Afterwards, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Finland’s President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb, visited the exhibition “Alvar Aalto and Contemporary Spanish Architecture” at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. The exhibition highlights Alvar Aalto’s influence on generations of Spanish architects, as well as the presence of Spanish architecture in Finland.
From Helsinki, the King and Queen traveled to Rovaniemi, in the Lapland region, where the State Visit focuses strongly on security, scientific research, sustainability, and cooperation in the Arctic. Accompanied by the President and First Lady, the King and Queen visited the Arktikum Museum and Arctic Science Centre in Rovaniemi.
On this occasion, Queen Letizia wore a navy blue two-piece ensemble by Finnish fashion house Andiata, consisting of the “Madie” blazer and matching “Kity” skirt. First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb wore an outfit designed by Sofia Ruutu for Gauhar Helsinki, consisting of a blazer and matching trousers.

Both ladies superb. I would buy the Andiata by preference because when it comes to suits, the more classic the better for long wearing pleasure. But the Gauhar is very elegant.

ReplyDeleteAndiata is always a god choice 🇫🇮
ReplyDeleteLovely suit and coat. I like her hand bag, nice size
ReplyDeleteTwo brooches in two days, not very typical of Queen Letizia. I like the outfits of both ladies.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine it’s their way of showing that Finland, a close neighbour of Russia, is a serious partner of Spain. So in a way let’s thank Russia and her effects.
DeleteThe pin/brooch is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVeste et jupe combinées élégamment ; magnifique broche en diamants !
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of the coat-draped-over-the-shoulders look. I feel like if it’s chilly enough for a coat, wear the coat with arms in the sleeves. Setting that aside, however, I like the color of Letizia’s coat and her elegant, well-tailored suit with brooch. The square neck of Mrs. Innes-Stubb’s suit would look better, in my opinion, if it were less deep cut.

""Shall I wear coat or not ? I know, I'll just sling it round my shoulders instead".
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizia looks lovely in this beautifully crafted two piece suit. I love the jacket, the cut and fit, exceptionally good. The skirt has nice swish and movement. Love the color of her shoes and bag. The diamond brooch, what a stunning piece, perfect addition against the black jacket.
ReplyDeleteThe First lady looks equally lovely, well groomed, attired and stylish, she looks very elegant.
I love letiga.
ReplyDeleteBlack, black That is Boeing
