On October 30, 2026, Queen Sonja of Norway visited the Norwegian School in Málaga (Den Norske Skolen Málaga), located in Benalmádena, Spain. During her visit, she met with pupils and staff and gained an insight into daily life at the school and its importance to the Norwegian community on the Costa del Sol. During the hour-and-a-half-long visit, the Queen was welcomed by the student council president and the school’s youngest pupils.
The school is a private primary and lower secondary school with 125 pupils. It is located 10–15 kilometres southwest of Málaga city. Established in 1989, the school provides education for pupils from Years 1 to 10 and follows the Norwegian national curriculum. The previous evening, Queen Sonja opened the Munch–Picasso exhibition at Museo Picasso Málaga.

Queen Sonja is the embodiment of Sia's hit song " Unstoppable", imo.
Glad to see the queen in uplifting pink but the bottom part of the trousers is not to my liking, the slit, sitting on the somewhat white, dumpy shoes. I would have preferred dark blue shoes and a slightly shorter length, ex queen Beatrix’s style.
