  1. Well deserved. She does a lot for needy children around the world; they are the neediest and need protection. Like this dress and the suit in the other picture. Hope Q Silvia can do this still for a while. Thank you on behalf of the children in the world.

  4. Gorgeous! the yellow brocade frock is divine; and the all-beige textured skirt suit ensemble is simple, fresh and modern.
I'm also impressed with how the same earrings and necklace work so well with both outfits. Well done Sylvie! Lyra

    1. If you choose to address her in this direct way, then maybe it'd be nicer to call her with her proper name: Silvia.

  5. The yellow dress is stuck in the 1960's and not a good look.very childish looking with the flat bow in the middle of neckline

    1. I do not see childish looking bow, but perhaps dated.

    2. A lot of highly contemporary dresses also stuck somewhere in earlier times. There is nothing new under the sun and in fashion. I find it quite good to recognize this, because the question is not the amount of time since it was fashionable in the past, the question is if it looks good. Good to remember this, especially In our environmentally endangered time - throwing away the "old" is not such a good choice. - Silvia looks adorable in this old dress, sure re-worn without a thought about it being conform to contemporary fashion or not. Just think about it again, maybe you discover that it is this kind of thinking about outfits that is "stuck in the 60's".

    3. Oh I completely love it and don’t find it stuck at all. Whimsical and recalling other eras, beautifully put together.

    4. I like a good retro look, and this one is very good in my opinion. Its elegant, the color suits her, and you won't see it any anyone else.

  8. A very 1960's vibe to the yellow brocade, but I like it nonetheless. Also, her choice for the hospice visit is very nice, as usual.

Q Silvia is such an elegant woman. Not a lot of people look good in yellow. She looks beautiful. And I like the lighter hair color. She really looks lovely here.
