On Thursday, 1 October 2026, Queen Máxima visited the Netherlands Police Academy in Apeldoorn as part of an initiative focused on financial well-being in the workplace. With more than 67,000 employees, the National Police is one of the largest employers in the Netherlands and a member of the Financially Healthy Netherlands Foundation (SFGN). Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is honorary chair of the foundation.
During the working visit, Queen Máxima, together with Chief of Police Janny Knol, held discussions with police officers, managers, and support staff, as well as HR directors from other organisations, about financial well-being in the workplace. In a subsequent meeting, representatives of other major employers that are also members of SFGN — Royal Schiphol Group, the Ministry of Defence, and Parnassia Group — joined the discussions.

The trousers are one of her last acquisitions in pale pink, I think. The top reminds me of a dress or a skirt she had in the past. I remember the red flowers on one side of the bodice. The pale pink part of the top is different than the pale pink of the trousers. The big red necklace does not match the outfit. She tried to combine separate pieces but didn't obtain a good result.

She overslept this morning, rushed out off bed, took the first clothes she could fine, didn’t have time to brush her hair. Unfortenaly, this happens to me time to time. QM big smile is the same❤️

ReplyDeleteIs it just me (the photography, perhaps?) that can see a mismatch of colours here? I don't think it all goes well together. A bit of clothing wildly tossed together going on, imho.
ReplyDeleteI do not find this outfit visually attractive. The colours are okay as is the fit, but it just seems off for some reason I can’t pin point. Seems some of her clothing choices are being influenced by her niece and sister in law lately, leaning more to an edgy look.

I really like the pink top with the abstract red design. It’s unique and eye catching. I would style with red pants to keep the focus on the beautiful top, but to each their own.

ReplyDelete@08:20- attending an official event, probably been in her calendar for months, no excuse for turning up as though you have overslept. As an 'ordinary ' person with a busy life and workload I plan my wardrobe in advance, know many who do and unlike Maxima we do not have staff to help.
Yet you are not constantly scrutinized and are able to wear whatever you want. Were you a royal, I am quite sure you would not have the same opinion as you do now because you would be extremely busy, not only ordinarily busy. Do not compare yourself with these ladies. There is no comparison. And yes, she tries to be innovative. She is using other color combinations and jewelry that even though are not extreme, some people claim to be outrageous. Let them be!

ReplyDeleteMaxima would have known for months about this event and had plenty of lead time to prepare what to wear and how to groom her hair. Perhaps a "just out of bed" look is in vogue. Regardless of any trend she looks terrible. Rat tail hair, mismatched cloths & oversized necklace. OMG! Compair this to the previous day at Usk where she had well groomed hair and a polished look that suited the event, well put together from every aspect. Maxima regularly shows how to be fashion foward with her exuberant style. This is why it is so disappointing when we have todays "oops" look.
