  1. Black closed toes shoes and white tights must have been on sale 😂

    1. Maybe you could adjust your screen? I don't see white tights anywhere. Black shoes for a festive occasion and closed toes in October in Sweden: what exactly is your problem?

    2. What's your point anon 01:02? And laughing to your own "joke", which was not amusing at all, seems very stupid.

    3. I think she looks very chic in her elegant dress. Good colour and cut.

    4. The tights are not white, I think you should go to Specsavers! 🙃

    5. I am afraid I have to agree with 01:02. The ladies in Group photo N° 3
are wearing transparant white tights or maybe no tights at all. Only the lady on the right with the orange jacket is wearing more natural/beige looking tights.

    6. 10:38 you are extremely rude calling people stupid

    7. I think it’s just a screen adjustment required; I don’t see white tights on my screen.

    8. Black closed shoes are normal footwear and they are all using nude tights not white. Time to check the contrast button.

    9. Anon 13:19, I didn't call the person stupid, but her/his behavior was stupid. I never say a child is naughty, but child's behavior can be naughty. There is a certain difference there.

    10. Anon. 01:02. didn't write anything offensive about the ladies, so I don't understand why all these negative comments are for. It is not anonymous' fault that the tights look white on her/his screen. They look rather white to me as well. Anon. 01:02 just underlined in a somewhat funny way the coincidence of all four women wearing similar shoes and tights.

  2. The long ringlets in her hair and the flounces on the hips of her dress are not the most flattering, but red is a good color on Sofia.

    1. Not seeing what you’re seeing Royalwatcher. The ringlets and peplum I find very flattering on Sofía.

    2. I don’t mind the length of Sofia’s hair at all; I think long hair generally looks good on her. However, the way it is styled here makes her look like she has one long ringlet on each side of her face, which does not look good, in my opinion.

    3. I’ll split the difference The peplum is fine, the ringlets distracting and less than flattering

  3. This is a lovely dress, attractive design which suits her so beautifully. She looks very elegant.

    1. Exactly. Sofia looks great in her elegant dress.

  4. Hmm nice dress fits well, but for me the short sleeves and the longer length look out of proportion. It looks balanced on the model, so perhaps those extra inches on the skirt makes a difference…not sure

  6. Le design de cette jolie robe rouge lui va bien surtout avec la taille aux côtés Peplum !

  7. Good color but that's about it for me.

  8. Sophia is very pretty, she has a beautiful figure (after 4 children) and yes, short sleeves are not the best with the long skirt fashion, but everything else is really fine and much better than some of her less happy choices. This one is elegant, feminine, simple -- all good. I for one love peplums, for slim women a beautiful feminine design feature - and in this case, the only one, which is also good.. What I don't like on anyone: overly long hair combined with artificially produced ringlets/curls of any form.

    1. I disagree on the sleeves I think the dress is wonderful. I do agree on the hair - this overlong hair and ringlets is not something I like on anyone . She has an amazing figure for someone who has had 4 children! LRB

    2. My thoughts exactly on all points

      Delete
    3. Well, we don't know if they are "artificially produced". 🙂 If you have long naturally curly hair, it would look exactly like that.

  10. As an afterthought to very long hair, with all these artificial curls (not only) Sophia is wearing: If you don't want to make an updo in order to show it all: what kind of hairstyling is possible? None, except making these curls. But, thanks to the overly long hair, you only make your hair pretty where your face *not* is. You don't frame you face with it, but partly hide the middle part of the body in order to showcase all those somewhat overdone curls. And your face? Well partly hidden, partly just hair hanging on the sides ... What an utter waste, if you think of it, Sophia has beautiful facial contours.

    1. I don’t quite understand your message but I appreciate your description to share your thoughts which is always better than just a short opinion! Thank you. I find long hair beautiful and find it suits her very well. The curls make it fancy for a fancy event.

    2. Personally for a more casual look I like a pony tail and ( maybe not a popular opinion) I love a scruffy/ loose bun! LRB

    3. My thoughts as well overly long hair just showcases your ability to grow long hair. I prefer shoulder length or to the collar bone, then the face is frame, not elongated and the hair has a little more bounce naturally

      Delete
    4. @dear 14:20: shorter, maybe better understandable version: these curls do nothing for your face. As 15:41 put it: enjoy and show your ability to have long hair. - What else could curls covering your breasts do for you?

  11. I am not a great fan of peplums. But if I had to wear them I would prefer it on a dress with a pencil skirt and not on a wider skirt which is also too long. I also prefer it on a 2 pieces : jacket with peplum + pencil skirt. Red is a good color for Sofia. The curls in her hair are not different than the curls in PoW hair. I don't understand why she is the one who is attacked more frequently about her hair than other princesses or queens with long hair and curls.

    1. Well said Anon 13:02

    2. I (12:04) at least sure don't "attack" her, but this is her topic here - same is valid in my case for the PoW. Mary and Leti have shorter hair and we don't really see this corkscrew-like curls on them, or do we? I don't recall it. You don't have to defend any queens here - by attacking other commenters:-) .

    3. The shape of the top part of the skirt is slim, like it could be on a pencil skirt - and the somewhat wider part of the skirt is much deeper. I think the effect is exactly this: a bit of flounce (peplum) around the waist, directly above and under it everything is slim - and then, that bit of flounce is repeated deeper. And nothing else is on this dress, no other fluffs and ruffs, the body contours are enough. I find exactly this attractive (and typically Mouret "architecture") - but of course, nobody else has to.

  14. Well… I never understand being against someone’s beautiful long hair; the fun of it IS all the different ways you can style it. She always looks extremely well put together and I’m so glad she keeps her hair long if she wants it long. It really is hers and no one else’s!

    2. Anon.14:23. I haven't noticed that Princess Sofia or PoW constantly styled their long hair differently. They wear their hair most of the time loose and with curls.

  15. Nothing wrong with her hair, dress, sleeves , tights or shoes. I think some people are looking for something to critizice.

  16. The negative hair comments as expected. It seems you all want women to have short straight boring hair. The men I know prefer long hair on women.

  19. The prettiest Swedish Princess, looks great in the red dress and her hair is nice and shiny, much better than a tight bun.
