The memorial commemorates members of the Foot Guards who lost their lives in the First World War and was later expanded to honour those who fell in the Second World War. It also commemorates the 14,600 men who never returned home.

  1. The Brits execute ceremonies with great pomp and circumstance, it’s really wonderful and adds such meaning to these occasions.

As for the fashion, I’m absolutely loving the windowpane pants with the navy coat and shoes. Very British and it looks perfect for the day.

  3. I think this is an excellent outfit for P. Anne. It fits well and looks very suitable for the occasion. Her hair is looking good too. Some colour for sure and maybe a treatment to reduce the frizziness. Whatever she’s done, it makes a huge difference. (V.M.)

  5. Now here is a masterclass in how to be a royal! The Princess Royal is an amazing lady--dedication and duty just exude from her. She looks wonderful here--perfectly attired for the occasion as always with perfectly coordinated everything plus a touch of snazziness with those beautiful windowpane trousers.
