At the invitation of Prince Albert II of Monaco, President of Italy Sergio Mattarella is paying a two-day state visit to Monaco from 2 to 3 October 2026. President Sergio Mattarella is accompanied by his daughter, Laura Mattarella.
On 2 October, President Sergio Mattarella, accompanied by his daughter, Laura Mattarella, was welcomed by Prince Albert II, Princess Charlène, Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella in the Cour d’Honneur of the Prince’s Palace.
In the early evening, the Princely Couple will welcome President Sergio Mattarella and Ms Laura Mattarella to the Monte-Carlo Opera. The evening will continue at the Prince’s Palace, where Prince Albert II will host a state dinner in honour of President Sergio Mattarella.
For the occasion, Princess Charlène wore an ecru Montaigne Bar jacket by Dior, while Princess Gabriella wore a powder-pink jacket by Bonpoint.

Jolie la couleur blanc cassé adoptée par Charlène et Gabriella !
ReplyDeleteCharlène looks great, a picture of elegance. So is Gabriella. Italy's FL - no.
DeleteLaura Matarella who usually is dressed classic and elegant wore the bad trousers. She could have worn a more stylish pair of trousers instead of a cotton pair which people take with them on vacation. Princess Gabriella is wearing a beautiful little jacket. Now that is growing up she can wear these stylish clothes which she wore too early when she was still a toddler. Princess Charlene of course impeccable in her white Dior outfit (She seems to be in her white period, lately).
ReplyDeleteShe IS dressed classically. Not bad trousers, certainly not cotton trousers. Really?! They are a bit wrinkled from travel but part of the suit with the jacket.
DeletePeople who take this kind of trousers on vacation have to be wealthy and with a substantial fashion sense.
DeleteNo cotton at all.
The Dior suit is a perfect fit for Charlene. Now the white suit, perhaps a lower shoe would have been a better choice. The difference between silhouettes and proportions are very clearly displayed here.
ReplyDeleteSadly, this time Signora Mattarella seems to have one of her rare misses. Everybody else looks splendid, though perhaps a bit too much colour-coordinated.
ReplyDeleteBeauty all around.

I do like Laura’s clutch. I appreciate the design of her jacket but I prefer Charlene simply because I am not keen on the bottom V it grabs your eye to that area
ReplyDeleteCharlene in Dior. Whats not to love with this fabulous look. Classic always wins.
ReplyDeleteYes, fantastic look of Charlène, pure elegance. This cannot be said of Italy's First Lady in her pantsuit.
DeleteWhy do Monaco's Royal Men always wear the badest troursers??? The length is so ridicoulus!!!
ReplyDeleteTantissimi "sette" nelle calzoni...ma perché???
Tradizione? Ignoranza di vestirsi?
Poverino piccolo Principe J.
Non ha altra scelta...
Lui sembra assai timido ...
This CD pantsuit is beautiful. I love the style, design, color and fit, perfection. The Princess looks effortlessly elegant. Princess Gabriella looks wonderful, a lovely outfit for her.
ReplyDeleteThe pantsuit worn, by Laura imo is not well made or attuned to her shape, pants too short, jacket not fitted well. Love her clutch, gorgeous. Regardless its lovely to see her. Her clothing choices and fit are normally excellent. I'm sure we will see some lovely pieces from her and I look forward to this.
Dior must have dressed the majority of European royal ladies. We know Queen Mary has the skirt suit of this version. Princess of Wales has a blush version with a netting skirt. We know Dior dressed Queen Camilla.
ReplyDeleteThe House of Dior is the go to fashion house.
This cream pant suit is sublime. The cream color brings warmth to PC face. The styling and fitting is perfection. As for her earrings they deserve a page of their own. Stunning.
I like that Princess Gabriella wore a pant suit like her Mom. The look is age appropriate and stylish.
Lowri.
It’s interesting how different royal families approach introducing their children to their roles
ReplyDeleteI find that putting the twins through that is unnecessary at this age and they don’t look too comfortable..
DeleteAnonymous 13:07, they seldom look comfortable.
DeleteCharlene looks lovely and very elegant in this beautiful Dior suit--and Gabriella is an adorable mini-me of her mother in her outfit. Ms Mattarella is a bit of a disappointment--her trousers did not survive the trip to Monaco well and are rather oddly wrinkled. I do like her suit--it's very stylish.
