The King and Queen were introduced to the architectural features of the museum complex and its exhibition spaces, which showcase the historical and cultural heritage of the Great Steppe. During the visit, the Queen wore a two-piece outfit from Natan’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, consisting of a top featuring a leaf pattern and a matching midi skirt.

  1. The Queen is such a beautiful woman, but zwischen Natan skirt does not suit her.

Very nice outfit that fits really well. I like the same material headband. Glad she opted for a straight hem instead of the sloping one on the model

    1. I agree. This suit looks really nice on the queen; she has a difficult body and many times she dresses in the wrong cuts, but not this time

  3. I love the outfit but not the headpiece.

  4. Bad colour IMO for the queen. Looks pale. Does anybody know if the president is not married or just the local habit is that the first lady doesn't participate in any official visits (like it used to be in USSR or other countries of the region)?

    1. From what I can find, the president is divorced, and his adult son does not live in the country, so there is no First Lady or a daugher to act as first lady.

    1. What’s odd? Would love if you could leave no comment or an interesting one.

  6. I am a big fan of Queen Mathilde, but she should stay away from these wide A-line skirts with the big folds on her stomach. There is something wrong with the jacket too. She has a jacket in the same style by Natan in navy and worn on a pencil skirt. It suited her much better. I also do not like the coats with the wide skirts. There is always too much fabric in her waist aerea and on the hips. With the 2 short straight coats she wore in the beginning of this state visit she did not have his problem.

    2. Sometimes that’s the case but I think this ensemble — except the front pleat which I agree is in a weird place for both model and Mathilde — is really perfect and flattering

  7. The queen looks great! I think this is how the people of Kazachstan expect a queen to look.

  8. Agree regarding the skirt. A penskirt or trousers probably would look better with this jacket.

  9. Being Natan, there will often be something that looks a bit odd. In this case it’s the choice of pleats across the stomach. But aside from that I think this outfit works beautifully for Mathilde. The colour, fabric and silhouette work extremely well did her, including the beautiful headband.

    1. I agree Natan seems to combine the wrong fabric with an okay design. But I guess that is the intent. I do like the fabric

  10. This is a very nice two-piece outfit. Like the color as well.

  11. This is a dressy looking outfit and I wish I liked it better, but the material looks very stiff and shiny, and the jacket does not appear to fit well.

  12. I think this is a beautiful outfit. It's quite regal due to the fabric. I wish it was a different color--this color isn't very flattering for Queen Mathilde and probably wouldn't suit others too. I don't see the fit issues that others report but then I am not a seamstress. I will say I do agree that a skirt with less fabric could improve the look overall. However, I think Mathilde looks lovely here and I'm even onboard with the headband because it looks wonderful with her hairstyle.

  13. I’ve enjoyed all her outfits on this trip, especially yesterday’s beige coat and cream/white dress. She’s so well dressed and beautiful.

  14. I think the overall style suits Mathilde every well, but as often with Natan, it's the overly rigid fabric choice which is affecting the look. Even on the model we can see that the front centre fold of the skirt does not hang straight but balloons out in front. All the seams are visible, even at a distance --because the stiff fabric creates an indented line when folded. Lyra

    My thoughts exactly.
As soon as I saw this outfit I just knew that it was the often dreaded
    Natan label.
Kind of a matronly outfit imho.

  16. I like this outfit. The style and colors. The fabric I find kind of stiff. Another fabric would possibly have looked better still. Love the silver slivers of the outfit matching her bag (I think!) She looks lovely. Her earrings diamond stud and pearl drop beautiful.

  17. Élégante tenue dont j’adore la couleur ; je trouve quand même qu’elle manque de fluidité surtout au niveau de son haut !
